From the owner

Sintra (ten minutes walk to the beach) has been a family holiday home for many years and has recently been upgraded and restyled (2009) worthy of Grand Designs. The layout has been designed to provide a comfortable, light and spacious home for families enjoying the local beaches, swimming and surfing, walking and golf. Sintra has an automatic fresh air circulation system.

Accommodation is as follows: a master double bedroom en-suite with dressing room.

Three further double bedrooms (king size beds) and a triple room with three single beds (additional mattress under day bed for unofficial extra), three en suites, main bathroom and additional wet room with shower, two balconies with sea views. Travel cot and high chair provided (cot without linen).

The kitchen is open plan with a large oak dining table and folding sliding doors to the rear patio. There are steps down to the garden lounge with a vaulted ceiling with oak beams and a wood burner for the colder months.

Just opposite the house is a wonderful and very friendly village farm shop for everything from fresh bread and eggs to local artwork! Nearby Padstow offers shopping and the Rick Stein restaurants. Newquay 20 minutes drive (Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant) has many tourist attractions.

Within a short drive there are beautiful gardens to visit and the Eden Project is a short distance from Trevone.

There is a beautiful old wall approximately eight feet high to the north eastern boundary . Alongside this a long lawn suitable for ball games with steps to the upper lawn and patio area. Another lawn runs up the west side of Sintra to the front garden which is planted out with shrubs. The parking are to the front of the house is tarmac.
PLEASE NOTE :The garden is terraced and care must be taken with children and the elderley.
