Interspersed by chirping of birds and whispers of trees our home provides you an ideal place to relax ,after a visit to unawatuna beach mirissa beach,and old dutch fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia, showing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Other prominent landmarks in Galle include the city's natural harbor, the National Maritime Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral founded by Jesuit priests, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.
As locals, we can provide you with invaluable tips and information from an insider perspective. Renting a motorbike is the best way to see Galle,if you rent a bike you can easily visit to the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project,madu river boat trip,ambalangoda mask centers,hikkaduwa beach and coral reef,galle fort,galle city,unawatuna beach,koggala beach,midigama beach,weligama beach,mirissa beach,matara town,point of dodra, , and many other temples in the surrounding areas,so i recommend my place is ideal who likes to relax their day(night) after a such journey or after a swimming in the sea,because my place is Interspersed by chirping of birds and whispers of trees -- just remember to drive on the left , You'll find the fairest motorbike rental at the corner of the beach access road and the main road to Galle. Prices start around US $5 per day. Fuel is siphoned out of the scooters so you'll need to turn left on the main road and go directly to the petrol station on the right just before entering Galle.
