Home description
A lovely seafront apartment set within a classical building. Enjoying spectacular sea and mountain views. In an excellent location for exploring the Pelloponese the ancient theatre of Epidavros is just one hour away. Equally its a great location to explore some of the nearby islands, in particular Poros, Hydra and Egina. Athens is also just an hour away on the hydrofoil so within easy reach for day trips.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned, and fully furnished. Their are two double bedrooms though with the addition of extra beds the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to six. Cots are available. The main living area is comfortably furnished and leads to the balcony. Their are two bathrooms and each bedroom has a Juliet balcony.
The apartment is within a spa complex so available to guests are a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam. For an additional charge guests can also take spa treatments such as facials, manicure, massage etc.
The town of Galatas is a very traditional Greek town and it has excellent facilities for families. Just a five minute walk from the apartment is a children's playground. A supermarket and very good local shops are also just a few minutes walk away. Their are also many local tavernas just a few minutes walk away. Or you can hop on the water taxi and its a five minute journey across the water to the island of Poros. Poros has a more varied night life and anyone looking for more lively bars will find them here, there are also many traditional places to eat here also.

The Peloponnese region
The Peloponnese has lots to offer visitors on a relaxing beach holiday or a more adventurous touring holiday. Galatas is within easy reach of many interesting places to visit and has both spectacular seashores and mountains to explore.
Galatas area
The ancient theatre of Epidavros is just an hour away, and also Naplio is within easy driving distance. Athens is just one hour away on the Hydrofoil. Island hopping is also very easy from Galatas. Good beaches can be found very close to the apartment. Boat trips are also very popular. Their are tennis courts nearby and also many centres if you wish to take part in watersports. Poros has its own cinema where in the summer nights you can view a film on the rooftop screen.
How to get there
The Arcadia is a one hour and fifty minute drive from Athens airport. Or on the Hydrofoil from Pireaus Port in Athens it takes one hour.
It takes about 20mins in a taxi to get from the airport to Pireaus, or there is a Shuttle bus available which is a cheaper option and still very frequent.
