This charming house sits on the edge of the picturesque village of Broze. The entrance is through an ancient stone arch into a magical white gravel courtyard with olive trees and geraniums.
"La Forge" is a perfect place to chill out and relax - sit under a tree, sunbathe on the terrace or swim in the beautiful pool. An idyllic hideaway for a romantic break, unrivalled for it's natural beauty, superbe views and tranquility.
Wine domains surround the village of Broze, where guests are warmly welcomed for wine tastings and guided tours of the cellars.
The location is a haven for walkers and artists. If you paint or draw bring your art materials - an easel is provided for your use.
10% reduction when booking for one couple only - please note that from 13th July - 13th September reservations are for a minimum of two weeks duration.

The ground floor is tiled throughout and boasts an impressive white stone fire place and beamed ceiling.
An oak staircase leads to two lovely bedrooms, also beamed. 1 with double bed the other with twin beds and both with en-suite facilities.
The delightful open plan living room/dining room/kitchen opens onto a covered dining area, which in turn leads to a sun deck and enticing 9 x 5 metre pool, all with glorious far reaching views along the valley to the distant Montagne Noir.
Tiled floors to living room and kitchen, wooden floors to bedrooms and bathrooms. Beamed ceilings throughout.

In the summer, music festivals are held in the prestigious surroundings of the 12th century cathedral of ALBI, birth town of the artist Toulouse Lautrec.
The medieval village of CORDES is a gem of Gothic architecture on its « sugar loaf » 110m high, while the fairy-tale medieval walled city of CARCASSONNE, one hour away, is breathtaking.
When you tire of the rural delights of the TARN, why not visit pink-bricked TOULOUSE (“La Ville Rose”), with its beautiful squares, chic shops and many art galleries.
Though vibrant and cosmopolitan, TOULOUSE has a laid-back village-like atmosphere, and a relaxed pace of life. You will enjoy watching the world go by at the numerous pavement cafés in the Place Capitole, the city's heart since the 12th Century.
There are four excellent championship GOLF COURSES all about 20/30 mins away.
For the more technically minded you can visit the Space City “Cité de L'Espace” with MIR station, Ariane space rocket prototype and interactive games, making it also an interesting & unusual day trip for the children.
For longer day trips the PYRÉNÉES are 2 hours away, the nearest MEDITERRANEAN beach (Narbonne Plage) is just under 2 hours and the ATLANTIC Ocean at Biarritz is 3 hours.
The Gaillac area
"La Forge" sits on the edge of the charming, tranquil little village of Broze, just ten minutes drive from Gaillac. It is totally surrounded by vineyards and has magnificent far reaching views from the terraces, courtyard and garden.
The tiny village of Broze sits on the site of an ancient castle, it is utterly tranquil and at "La Forge" you will find a perfect place to relax, and unwind. here you will find an ideal base from which to explore the many wine domains which surround the area. It's a perfect location for walking, and if you paint or draw bring your art materials with you - an easel can be provided for your use.
The location is a haven for walkers and artists. It is a five minute drive to the nearest shops in Cahuzac sur Vere, where you will find three boulangerie, a mini supermarket, an excellent store for local specialities, a wine shop and a pharmacy. There is also a brasserie and a bar plus a superb Micheline starred restaurant.
Most near by villages have a weekly market, where you will find many local speciality foods and wonderful fresh produce. A list will be left for you at "La Forge".
The area is rich with interesting places to visit and many excellent restaurants. The historic city of Albi is just 20 minutes drive. There is boating on near by lakes canoeing on the Tarn, horse riding at various stables and bike hire all within easy reach.

From Toulouse (Blagnac) airport it is a 40 minute drive to Gaillac, then a 10 minute meandre through the hills to Broze. (directions will be sent with your confirmed booking).
There is a peage of 1.40 E on the autoroute(useful to have the change ready).
An inexpensive bus service operates from the airport to the main line railway station in Toulouse, (Matabiau) where regular trains to Gaillac offer a useful service if some guests arrive separately.
