Apartmentos Casa Branca is a 9 storey block of one bedroom apartments each with a balcony and a car space. In this block we have one apartment with wonderful sea/town and mountain views from the balcony.
The apartment is very clean and presentable but is basically and simply furnished. There is a swimming pool and garden with the block. The apartment has a bed settee so that an extra adult or two children could be accommodated at extra cost. Beds are made up with fresh linen and towels are provided. For lets of two weeks or more there will be a weekly linen change. The apartment is on the seventh floor. It is possible that a lower floor apartment may be available at 35 Euros less than the rentals quoted, please ask owner for more details.
The location is about 3 miles from the centre of Funchal and there are buses to all directions nearby.

The Madeira region
The Island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean is often called 'The Floating Garden' amongst other things. However in addition to the abundance of flowers and particularly the flowering trees for which the Island is well known you have a really good selection of mountains and valleys to enjoy throughout the Island as well as a lovely warm sunny climate.
Funchal / Ajuda area
The Island Capital - Funchal - is built as a huge concave town facing South and is now just over 500 years old as a City. Although there are no natural sandy beaches as such there are a number of places where access to the sea can be gained either by a pebble beach or in a few cases an artificial sandy beachy. Restaurants abound in the City and favourite dishes are the 'espada' fish or the 'estpetata' meat on a stick.
The annual flower festival in April is not to be missed likewise the annual carnival in February. Most famous of all, of course, is the grand fireworks display on New Years's Eve or to be more correct on New Year's Day as the display starts at midnight on New Year's Eve. In 2006/7 it was considered to be the best in the world and gained entry into the Guiness Book of Records.

Conditions
For lets of three/four weeks there is a discount of 2.5%. For lets of five weeks or more there is a discount of 5%. We are required to hold a returnable damage./cleaning deposit of 125 Euros(approx£100).
