About the home

The furnished flat is five years old and very proper.The kitchen is modern and well equipped about household electrical appliances. All the rooms are comfortables and luminous.There is a lift, a private car park.
The bathroom is fully tiled (floor and walls) and has a big shower cubicle.
The main advantages of this comfortable and fully equipped holiday flat are the followings:
1-You can go bathing on foot.2-You can join a bus stop or a taxi stand on foot.3-You can go shopping on foot.
4-You can go to Funchal city on foot,along monumental avenue or following the coastal walk..5-You are greeted
by a professional agency of property management.6-The fair price,less expensive than a hotel room.7-My manager Alan can give you a cheap island tour (4x4).

Further details indoors:
The cleaning up is provided prior to arrival and after departure with no extra fees.An extra charge can be required for a cleaning up at mid-stay.
The manager greets customers at the airport and can drive them.(4x4 Nissan Patrol) and it is free of charge.

That fully equipped self-accommodation is located near the naval club, the lido and ponta gorda walks where there are pools,tropical gardens,restaurants and amenities such as car rental offices,foodstores,buses stop and taxis stands.The vacation rental is at a driving distance from Funchal city centre (2 miles),and close to "ponta gorda" and "lido" walks with their seaside resorts and aquatic parks for children.
From the self-catering,on foot,you can go bathing,fishing,diving,shopping,and walking to Funchal along "monumental avenue" or along the coast walk as well.Please note that the pools are not situated in the residence but at a walking distance from the flat (about 300m).

A deposit is required (25%).A booking contract is sent by email or by post,to interested customers.There is no security/damage deposit required.Gas,electricity and water are included in the rent price.
The weekly rate is based on 4 guests all inclusive.A discounted rate (10%) is offered for short lets more than ten nights.

The Madeira region

Madeira is the pearl of the Atlantic ocean,the island of the eternal spring near the north coast of Africa.
The island is well-known for its mild and sub-tropical climate (20°in winter,28° in summer) and for its hospitable people.
In Madeira,the holidays activities are very larges,footpaths along the famous water-channels or in the mountains,bathings into publics and shared swimming pools or into the sea (calheta beach,prainha beach and seixal beach),or shopping in Funchal city which is really a historical and nice town.
In Madeira,you have the possibility to play golf (palheiro golf),there is a diving club,you can angle swordfish,marlin,tunny-fish...You can make surfing at jardim do mar where there is a good and funny spot!

The Funchal area

There are many places to visit in Funchal.The botanicals and tropicals gardens are famous in the city where there are old "quintas" they are today museum(quinta das cruzes) or exotics gardens(quinta vigia,quinta palheiro),the typicals old streets into the historical area and of course the cable-car from Funchal to Monte!
We have also the carnival festivities in February,the flower festival in April,the Madeira wine festival at the beginning of September and the famous firework in December the 31.

The property is located within 20km driving distance from the airport in the way of Camara de Lobos and between Monumental avenue, the main road of the tourist hotel area of Funchal city, and Ponta Gorda/Lido seaside resorts.Nearby are public transportations such as taxis stands and buses stops.Local buses and taxis run regularly between the flat and the town.
