The horizonless pool is very much in harmony with its surroundings and measures 10m x 5m x 1.5m deep and has stone steps leading down into the water. On one side of the pool the water overflows towards a field of lavender Sunbeds are provided. BBQ, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, a boules area and a darts board are available for tenants' use

Les Places comprises the main house, sleeping 10, and the annex, which has its own entrance and which sleeps 4.The main living room has at one end a large , well equipped kitchen with Dishwasher, gas oven and hob, microwave etc. The Annex has a large entrance hall/dining area with a sitting room to the left and kitchen and bathroom to the right. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds.
The other end of this is a Breakfast/ Dining area and a large fireplace. There is also a very large dining room leading from the kitchen ,which overlooks the wonderful garden and pool Leading from the dining room are Oak stairs to a large double bedroom ( Kingsize bed), and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds and another shower room with WC and hand basin. Off the kitchen is the sitting room, ideal for a quiet read or watching TV (French & English) or a video. On the same floor is the main bedroom with double bed. An old oak staircase leads up to two bedroom each with twin beds, and a shower room with basin & WC. Stairs lead down from the dining area to a Greek shower room with WC and an original stone basin. The washing machine is also in this room.

Les Places is only available for 2 week lets. Changeover day is Saturday. Please telephone us – 0033 553407113. Booking deposit, Security deposit and Insurance Booking deposit of 25% of the rental cost required to secure a booking. A refundable Security deposit of £400 is required and is payable with final holiday balance. Tenants must arrange Travel, Holiday, Cancellation and personal liability insurance. Linen is included (excluding pool towels) .
There is a babysitting service and a chef service if required.

There are a range of interesting activities for all ages. Leisure lakes which offer excellent sun bathing, swimming and watersports are the area's local alternative to the seaside. You can also play golf, go wine tasting at the many chateaux, explore the local bastide towns or enjoy the hustle and bustle of the French markets. It is equally an excellent place to take a family holiday with plenty of action to keep the children amused including quad biking, visiting caves and exciting theme parks

Well signposted walks, cycling, riding, fishing (daily and weekly licences readily available), tennis, golfing, canoeing and swimming are all widely available and popular in the region. There are many local Leisure lakes these are at Montaigu-de-Quercy, Montcuq, Beauville.
Fumel, on the banks of the Lot river, has developed into a more commercial town with good shops and supermarkets. Nearby is the fascinating Chateau at Bonaguil, which is one of the finest examples of 15 th Century architecture. There are concerts, restaurant and a cafe.
The local population is very friendly and tourists and foreign residents are made extremely welcome – all contributing to a calm leisurely life-style.
There are many interesting places to see in this un spoilt area, The town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot is set on the banks of the Lot river and founded in 1264, it has many small streets and half-timbered buildings in the shopping pedestrian area and market square. There is a good Golf course to the north near Cancon.
Tournon d'Agenais is a pretty Royal bastide village from 1271 and on the route of St Jaques de Compostella with a lovely square and belfry tower superb views, restaurants, Alimentation, Butcher and Boulanger. Friday evening market in the summer.
