Home description
This third floor front line beach apartment has been a private family holiday home for several years and has far more facilities than the average holiday property. The apartment has a separate adjacent wash-house, with washing machine and space to store beach chairs, toys and lilos etc. The balcony has two round tables and plenty of seating for sunbathing and/or al fresco dining. There are three sunblinds which can be lowered to keep the balcony cool in mid-summer.
You walk out of the front door and over the paseo/promenade straight onto the sandy beach. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire. Directly to the left of the apartment is an popular beach restaurant (see photographs) where you can get beach refreshments, snacks or evening meals. There are beach front restaurants and bars in either direction from the apartment, and only two miles around the bay is the lively resort of Fuengirola, with its marina, shops and restaurants. Although Fuengirola is a big resort, the centre of the town is still full of character and back streets to explore.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is reputed to have the best climate in the world - with low rainfall and pleasant winters. Fuengirola was one of the first holiday resorts on the Costa del Sol and has a promenade extending two miles east to Carvajal, a quiet sea front area popular with families and couples.
There is a supermarket and post office within easy walking distance along the promenade and an excellent variety of shops in the centre of Fuengirola.
A popular pastime with holiday makers is walking the Paseo Maritimo (see front promenade) and enjoying the abundance of beach front restaurants and cafes. Funegirola has an historic castle, a delightful town square and many narrow streets to explore.
Fuengirola / Carvajal area
If you head inland just five miles from Carvajal you'll reach Mijas, a pretty Andalucian village with spectacular views of the coast. There are many lovely villages to visit if you decide to rent a car, or you can go down the coast the Marbella, Porto Banus and onto Gibraltar.
The Costa del Sol is famous for its golf, tennis and water-sports and Carvajal is an excellent base for such.
How to get there
The apartment is 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport, either by hire car, taxi or bus. There is also a regular train service from the airport to Carvajal station, which is about an 800 metre walk from the apartment. There are regular budget flights from the UK on RyanAir, EasyJet, BMI Baby, Monarch and Thomsons, and from most European countries. We use several car hire companies, but Marbesol is one of the most reliable and competitively priced.
A regular bus service runs from Marbella/Fuengirola to Benalmadena/Malaga and stops on the road directly at the back of the apartments.

Further details indoors: The large balcony can to accessed from the kitchen, lounge and one bedroom and has spectacular views out to sea and both way along the sandy bay. There are three twin bedrooms, one bathroom (with shower) and one shower room, both with WC, basin and bidets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is satellite TV, DVD and radio cassette
