Super detached 4 bedroom 3 bathroom villa on two levels, only 15 minutes walk ( 650 mtrs) from a clean, wide, sandy beach and a great selection of reasonably priced bars and restaurants and other amenities.

The entrance at ground level leads to the living room with steps up to the dining area and kitchen.

From this level there is a very large terrace, not over looked, running the full length of the villa with views to the sea.There is wooden dining and patio furniture and shade to enjoy those warm balmy nights whilst sipping wine or dining Al fresco. The gate to the side leads down past the BBQ area to the pool and garden. The pool is a very good size of approximately 10mtrs x 4.5mtrs.

The bedrooms are downstairs. Sleeps 8 people (excluding small children as there is plenty of room for cots).

The Master bedroom overlooking the private swimming pool has a full en-suite bathroom and walk in dressing room.

There is a further large double bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom and patio doors that lead onto a small terrace with direct access to the garden and pool.

There are also 2 twin rooms, one is small and has sloping ceilings and is really only suitable for children or young adults and there is another shower room for the use of these rooms.


The kitchen is fitted with a good range of appliances including a dishwasher and everything you will need to prepare simple meals. There is a good sized bright dining area with nice views to the garden.

There are child proof gates to the internal stairs if required

Large private garden set to grass around the swimming pool. Some sun loungers provided.

The Pool is not fenced and children must be supervised at all times when around the pool.

This property is located on the beautiful foothills above Fuengirola, this is perfectly fine for most people, however for the elderly or infirm or with a pushchair, the walk back uphill could be difficult. Local taxis are cheap and plentiful.

The Andalucia region

Spain's `sunshine coast' is one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations. With an average of 320 days of blue sky annually, it is perfect as a summer holiday or as a winter destination for golfers, walkers and those wishing to pursue out -door activities.

Families are particularly well catered for, with myriad attractions, restaurants and of course miles of beaches. Children are not just tolerated but welcomed by the friendly Spanish people.

The winding coastline has a number of beaches to suit visitors of all types with water sports or a quiet cove to sunbathe as you prefer, and just inland are the quaint whitewashed villages known as the " Pueblos Blancos", perfect for a day out. Or venture further afield to the fabulous Moorish Palace of the Alhambra or the iconic Mesquita of Cordoba.

Despite the march of development, the area still has the ambience of Andalucía, the most `Spanish' of all regions and you do not have to venture far from your holiday home to encounter local ferias, fiestas and romerias - the scent of Jasmine is in the air, Spanish wine is flowing freely- come and enjoy!


Fuengirola is the most family orientated of all the Costa Del Sol resorts. Its main attraction is the big safe sweep of sandy beach with a great range of inexpensive restaurants and bars catering for families on holiday. Fish alley is well known for its good food and low prices and has a great ambiance in the warm summer evenings.

The promenade has been improved with the addition of many palm trees along the Paseo Maritimo and some roads have now been pedestrianised and planted with palms and other trees. There is also a new square and some open air WI areas.

There is a small sports harbour with water sports, parasailing etc. and a sailing club offering lessons and many boats offering trips and fishing excursions.

The Moorish castle Castillo de Sohail rebuilt in the 18th Century dominates the western end of the town and makes a great back drop with gardens complete with Roman ruins running down to the beach .It has great views along the coast if you can make the rather steep climb, and a small museum.

In the old part of the town bars and restaurants are clustered around the Plaza de La Constitution which is lively in the evenings.

Fuengirola Zoo is the most modern in Spain and is a great day out that shouldn't be missed by children or adults. From May to September, children will love Parque Aquatico with great slides and watery attractions for both older and younger children

The beautiful village Mijas with it´s winding streets and famous "donkey taxis" is perched on the mountainside opposite the golf resort and is well worht a visit for it´s spectacular views over the coast. On a clear day you can see the hills of Morocco

"Ideal family rental"

I travelled with my husband and two children 4 and 1yr's old, my mother and father and brother and his girlfriend. The villa was lovely, set in a very peaceful residential area. I would decribe the villa as old spanish style which is what I was expecting. Stair gates had been fitted which made the living area more secure. The pool was magnificant and kept the whole family entertained. My only negative would be that the villa is located on a steep hill which proved difficult with buggies and that we did feel the need to give the villa a quick clean before allowing children down to play etc(which I would do in most situations) Overall we had a brilliant family holiday and would have no hesitaton recommending the property and staying there again ourselves next year!

"Villa not as advertised!!!!"

Described as a few minutes walk to the beach.......more like 20 minutes, and a small hill turns out to be approx 25% incline you end up having to take taxis a lot more than you would expect. The interior of the villa is very old and dated the pictures of the bedrooms are nothing like the bedrooms in the actual villa. The swimming pool was lovely and so were the gardens however the rest of the villa needs a lot of modernisation and not worth the cost of what we paid.

This villa is 650 metres from the nearest beach. For most people this is a 10 minute walk. As stated on the website, it is situated on the hillside as are most villas in this area. The property represents excellent value for money. At maximum occupancy it is less than 20€ per person per night in peak season for a detached villa with large garden and private pool. It has let well for 4 years and has had many returning guests.The photographs are of the villa and were taken by our Company in 2010, we will arange to have new photographs taken as there has been some new furniture since then.
