Nearby Fuengirola, is a well established family beach holiday resort, with beaches shops, bars, restaurant, entertainments, zoo and Aquapark.

Marbella an old, walled town enclosing Orange Square, surrounded by narrow lanes of exclusive shops, where you can sip fresh orange juice or chocolate and churros, whilst watching the world go by, or perhaps a glass of wine alongside the glamorous marina in Puerto Banus, where you might spot a famous face or tow.

Large, light and airy, villa with own pool, bar, BBQ and sun terraces, set in a quiet pueblo not far away from the bustling holiday resort of Fuengirola and the Costa del Sol’s many golf courses. Picturesque views from most rooms and terraces across fields to the mountains.

Access to the Villa is through security gates into a small courtyard, with car parking space for 2 cars to the left. The villa is built on 3 levels.

Enter the villa via open porch and through a pine door into the large, light and airy living room, which is comfortable furnished with sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, small tables. There is a flat screen TV, which shows the 'free to air' channels, DVD and music centre. Internet broadband and full Sky package are available at an extra charge. At the far end there are sliding glass doors with a small balcony overlooking fields & mountains. The open fireplace can be used when the evenings get a little cooler. Large, sliding, glass doors open up onto the upper veranda which is equipped with drinks table and chairs. Relax and enjoy the pretty views across the pueblo. This veranda gives access to the upper self contained studio.

Take the outside staircase to the upper level. Totally independent from the rest of the household is a self contained studio which can sleep up to 4 people. The high ceiling studio apartment is nicknamed ‘The Chapel’ and has its own shower room and kitchenette equipped with cutlery & crockery, there is also a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster etc, and a sunny balcony with beautiful views across the village and across to the sea. Equipped with large wooden table & chairs you can enjoy your breakfast and other meals.

Situated on the entrance level is the living room and 4 other bedrooms, as well as a communal bathroom.

The Master bedroom with large ‘en-suite’ is to the left of the entrance hall. It is sunny and bright with sliding doors leading to the upper veranda. It is configured with twin beds and free standing, white bedroom furniture and large built in wardrobe with drawers. The ‘en-suite’ has two wash hand basins, bidet, and large ‘walk in’ shower, all clad in wall to ceiling ceramic tiles. There is a reverse air unit in the bedroom, which keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Bedroom two (the Red Room) & bedroom three (the Chinese Room) are also twin bedded and have reverse air units. Both are configured as twin bedded rooms and have white free standing furniture and large build in wardrobes with drawers.

From the living room you take the wrought iron spiral staircase down to the 5th bedroom, shower room, kitchen, dining room and access to the pool, bar and barbeque terrace.

Fifth bedroom has a double bed and fully fitted bedroom furniture and reverse air unit. There is also a double sofa bed for an extra person. Sliding patio doors, with security grills, lead to a self contained terrace.

Next to the 5th bedroom is a utility room with washing machine and an extra fridge/freezer. There is also a small gym room with cross trainer, treadmill and other smaller equipment.

Also on the lower level is the open plan kitchen/dining room. Tasteful & modern, the kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances you would expect to find in your holiday home, including 2 ovens (1 eye-level), ceramic hob, integral fridge, freezer and dishwasher. For dining, there is a large table with upholstered dining chairs and a smaller table and chairs.

Access to the pool, bar and barbecue is via sliding doors from the dining room. The pool has a deep and shallow end with lights surrounding it. A unique 'Happy's Bar' is in the shaded area of this terrace. The bar has its own fridge and sink. The shaded terrace has lighting and fans to help keep you cool on hot, sunny days and is completed with outside sofas, chairs and tables to enjoy your aperatiffs or after dinner drinks. The large sun terrace has dining table and chairs as well as sun-loungers. A stairway takes you to the garden, which is laid to grass and planted with various fruit trees.

Access to the pool, bar and barbecue is via sliding doors from the dining room. The pool has a deep and shallow end with lights surrounding it. A unique 'Happy's Bar' is in the shaded area of this terrace, complete with outside sofas, chairs and tables to enjoy your aperitifs or after dinner drinks, and has lighting and fans for the warmer nights. Smoking is permitted on the balconies only.
Towels and bedding are supplied, but must not be taken out of the villa.
The villa may not be ready for occupation before 4 p.m.
Unless by prior agreement the villa must be vacated by 10.30 am.
Community rules: These are available in the villa and we appreciate your assistance in adhering to them.
'Due to changes in Spain satellite channels may be restricted. but Full satellite TV and internet package available at an extra charge of £35.00 per week.

Booking Terms and Conditions.

* A 30% non refundable deposit secures the booking.
* Full balance of payment must be made 6 weeks prior to holiday commencement.
* A £250.00 (300.00 Euro) deposit is required with final payment, this is held against damage and breakages, and is fully refundable via bank transfer on inspection of villa after departure.
* No groups considered, when all members of the party are under 30 years of age.
* If due to circumstances beyond our control the accommodation booked becomes unavailable coincidental with the clients scheduled time of residence we will do everything within our power to offer the client alternative accommodation to the same or of a similar specification. If this cannot be met a full refund will be made.
* All clients must have adequate holiday and personal medical insurance, which can be arranged, if the client elects to arrange his/her own cover we request the name of the insurer and the policy no.
* Any accident of whatever nature that occurs within the booked accommodation for whatever reason is the responsibility of the respective client, not agent or the owner.
* No Pets

Malaga Airport is only 30 minutes drive away.

Mijas Pueblo, one of the most picturesque ‘White Villages’ in the south of Spain, is a typical Andalucian village with narrow cobbled streets, flower decked balconies, intriguing shops and a vast choice of restaurants.

Nearby Fuengirola, is a well established family beach holiday resort, with beaches shops, bars, restaurant, entertainments, zoo and Aquapark.

Malaga, the origins of which go back to the Phoenicians and Greeks, still retains its Spanish charm with its original bodegas and tapas bars, with fascinating architecture, including the Cathedral and La Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress so lavishly appointed that it rivalled any of the principal Arabian palaces.

Travel inland, a pleasant journey through orange, lemon and olive groves or via a winding maintaining road, takes you to Rhonda perched high on a rock and divided into two parts by a 90 metre gorge, with its white washed Moorish houses, Arabian baths and one of the oldest Bullrings (1785) in Spain. The impressive Garganta del Chorro is a deep gorge where the Guardalhorce river flows, and beyond this the spectacular chasm to the ‘Spanish Lake District’

The choices are too numerous to mention, for a full day trip, it is possible to visit Nerja, Granada, Cadiz, Seville and Gibraltar. For the more adventurous, Tangiers is a short trip away by ferry or hydrofoil.

The Fuengirola / Cerros del Aguila area

Cerros del Aguila (Eagles Nest) is a small purpose built village less than 10 minutes drive from the town centre of Fuengirola, where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainments to suite all tastes.

A 3 minute walk from the villa takes you to the centre of the village, where there is a well stocked mini-market, bar and snack bar, a tennis court, communal pool (which all guests can use) including an infant pool, childrens play area and restaurant with outside terrace overlooking the picturesque community gardens and pool.

A local beach by Fuengirola Castle is about 5 minutes drive away and there is a car park.

The large, new Miramar Parque shopping and cinema complex is just down the road, here you can buy almost everything, there is an enormous supermarket, and you can eat in one of the many restaurants, or even see the latest films in English!

"we were a party of 10, and needed to chill out for a,week, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very relaxing week, villa very nice and spacious so we were not on top of one another, downside was weather but we knew by weather report about the rain, villa had plenty of dvds and kids games to occupy younger ones giving adults a bit of peace! the little supermarket closed later on in our week, but i think it will reopen again soon, but a taxi ride away to big hypermarket were you can stock up costs 10 euros each way, we all enjoyed our stay and people in local bar/ restaurant were very helpful and pleasant. overall i would go back again just to chill out and relax thanks susan"

It seems like an age ago since we left your Villa, but its less than a week.

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for a really enjoyable time.
Your Villa offered my family everything that we needed (My good lady spent all her time baking herself in the sun and I enjoyed the benefits of the shade in the outside lounge area with the all important bar, whilst the children splashed endlessly around in the pool). The location was excellent with only a 5 minute drive down to the resort and having the added benefit of wonderful hillside views (Watching the sun go down with a beer in my hand was the perfect end to the day).

The review:
Its safe to say that the pictures and the description do not do this villa justice. As soon as me and my party (of 10) saw the property we were astounded and couldn't believe our luck. As we went in june we only spent £150 each for the week which is a complete bargain!
The villa itself is very spacious, clean and well kept and extremely well catered for every need you have. Whether you need to do washing or dishwashing, all of the appropriate cleaning products are there. You are provided with lovely clean towels and there are even spare beach towels for your use. The kitchen is very well equipped and we never ran out of glasses and cutlery. There are plenty of kitchen appliances and outside is a lovely bbq where we cooked ourselves a really good meal!
The three bathrooms are very clean and well furnished, we had no problems there.
The spacious outside area is perfect for relaxing in the sun, and the shade. The pool is very clean and the view you get from outside is outstanding.
A 2 minute walk down the road, is a lovely café called the Blue Parrot which is full of friendly lovely staff and customers. The food is lovely and the prices are extremely reasonable. The little supermarket next door was extremely useful for everything we needed.
Another minute away from the café was a restaurant and bar which made delicious food and once again the prices were extremely reasonable.
If you can tear yourself away from the villa you can travel into the town or the beach. As our party didn't have a car we had to travel in taxis (the Blue Parrot can organise them for you) and the rates were always very standard and reasonable.
We all had a fantastic holiday here and we felt safe all the time. The area was relaxed and friendly making it impossbile to have a bad time. We would recommend this villa to anyone! It was absolutely brilliant and I'm sure we'd love to return!!

"Booked 1st to 7th May

Superb location, near enough to Fuengirola to be out of the bustle! Lovely villa with everything we needed. Handy having the local shop, bars & restaurants to walk to. We hope to come again and will pass the word. The children had a lovely time and made friends down at the community pool as well taking full advantage of the villa’s own pool. It was really nice to have a shady area where the bar is situated, allowed us to cool off a bit during the day and lovely to sit in at night.

"Thanks. We stayed 25th March to 1st April 2009. It was lovely villa, very peaceful and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered so to speak. Found it very useful to have the little mini-market so close to hand, but Fuengirola and the Miramar shopping centre are only about 5 minutes drive from the villa. The actual location of the villa was brilliant, as we could walk to the shop and both bars/restaurants. We particularly liked the bar overlooking to community pool. Lovely, sunny villa with excellent amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the villa to anyone. See you again we hope.
