About the home

Apartment in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, Spain: Air conditioning installed in lounge and all bedrooms. FREE WI FI. Free Safe. Kitchen and both bathrooms were recently refurbished with new suite,modern lighting and tiling. This sunny three bedroom two bathroom flat was furnished as a home for a couple now returned to England. Leather sofas, flat screen TV with all major English and Irish channels, comfortable beds and a super kitchen are features of a flat chosen for its quiet location yet with a very short walk to beach, town centre, bus and railway stations which are all within five minutes. It overlooks the swimming pool and has private underground parking. The sunny west facing balcony has a table and chairs for outside dining. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridgefreezer, oven, and microwave. Main bedroom is fully en suite. Family friendly block. Please don't try to book a group of young people. The owners had a hotel in the UK and their quality care in accommodation and customer service gained it inclusion in the 'Which' Hotel Guide. The same standards have been applied to this flat ensuring superb value

Conditions

Deposit is 25% of the booking with the remainder paid in euros on arrival.

There are no special adaptations for wheelchair use. There is one lift to our floor and one very small step to get into the building. However the pool and the garden can only be accessed by using steps.
There is both a terrace and an outside patio which we ask smokers to use rather than smoke inside the flat.

Fuengirola is a busy entertaining seaside town and all the attractions are only a short distance away - the noisy ones are a bit further! About three minutes walk away is 'Fish Alley' with over fifty restaurants and a surprisingly good three course meal here can cost as little as 9 euros. From the bus station (three minutes away) you can go to Marbella or Mijas, Seville or Ronda. from the railway station why not visit Tivoli World, Torremolinos or Malaga with its Moorish Castle, Great shops, fascinating old town or Picasso's birthplace and museum.

The Fuengirola / Fuengirola Marina area

Fuengirola has eight kilometres of wide sandy beaches with a protected safe shallow beach one minute away at the end of the road. The shopping is excellent with quality small shops in the town and a new large shopping centre on the outskirts (walkable). Here too are cinemas showing English films. Watersports are a feature at several locations on the beach. There is also the only English Language theatre on the Costa del Sol. The programme usually includes a mix of musicals and plays and many of the performers have appeared in top West End Theatres in England.

Fly to Malaga airport. We can book a taxi or you can take the train from the airport station to Fuengirola and then a five minute walk. Many cheap and charter airlines including BA , Easyjet, Ryanair and Monarch plus many more serve Malaga airport

“Great holiday place” Our family stayed 2 first weeks in july 2012 in this great flat in central Fuengirola. We expected fine flat and great beaches and nice city and we got it all. Everything was so close. Sohail castle, restaurants, Biopark, beach, miramar ... Cooperation with Graham was pleasent and nice. It was easy to travel from Malaga aeroport to Fuengirola using local train. Our holiday was succesfully in all manners. Thanks Graham.

“Brilliant week in lovely apartment” We spent a week in this apartment from 21 - 28 April 2012, My husband and I took our son, our daughter in law and our 2 grandchildren aged 2yrs 9 months and 18 months. Booking was very easy and we met the owner , Graham at Malaga Airport where we picked up the keys. The apartment is lovely and the location is fabulous. You are right in the centre of things. The apartment suited us perfectly and there was everything in the apartment that you could possibly want.The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms were great both with very powerful showers. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and this was also veryclean and the gardens were very well maintained.The apartment is very secure and all the apartments are serviced by lifts. The apartment was very safe for the children who had a wonderful time. I would recommend this apartment to any one staying in Fuengirola.

“Great holiday apartment” We have just returned from Fuengirola we had a great time. It is a busy resort with lots going on. This is a great apartment with the fantastic beech just a couple of minutes walk away. It has a nice pool area and near to the bus and train stations. There are lots of places to eat we like one in particular it just by the beach over the road from the carousel called the marina run by John and Maria they do good home cooked food with a 2 for 1 menu at E8 we also found a local bar just up the road run by Geordie called coast 2 coast. We look forward to our next visit hopefully next year. Thanks Graham.
