Playamar is a block of apartments on an elevated site in a quiet area yet convenient to all amenities. It has a large balcony with fantastic sea and mountain views. Located on the fourth floor, only two storeys above the garage. Beautifully furnished with all modern conveniences including a fully equipped kitchen.We use the apartment frequently so it is very much a family apartment which is suitable for all ages. It is south facing so you can enjoy the sun on the balcony from mid-morning to sunset. It has a large balcony with table and chairs which will seat six people so you dont have to leave the apartment at all if you would rather relax and just enjoy the views.We have a stereo with plenty of CDs to listen to and it also has sky TV and aDVD player for the little ones to amuse themselves while mum and Dad chill.There are lovely views of the sea and new Beatrice palace spa resort,which can be used by non residents and for those of you who enjoy a walk you could go up to the Castle and see the stunning views of Fuengirola.The Castle also holds events from Markets and Beer Festivels to Concerts,depending on the time of year.
There are two small supermarkets with restaurants beside the block by the garage and camp site.There is a shopping mall with a large eroski supermarket where you can purchase almost anything you need at a very sensible price.There are lots of interesting shops and places to eat.There is also a cineplex which has two english speaking cinemas. This is called the Myramar shopping centre and is only a 5 mins walk from the apartment.A taxi will charge you Approx 4 euros back if you have a big grocery shop and these sit at the back door of the shopping centre. There are numerous restaurants and bars within 15 minutes walk (convenience shop within 100 meters) and of course the beautiful walk along the famous Fuengirola promenade. Numerous activities for both parents and childen are available nearby.The little beach bar across the road 5 mins walk across the bridge,serves lovely fresh fish as well as the usual burgers,chicken etc for the kids.They also play music from speakers which gives a real holiday feeling.They also have bar service from your beachbeds if you want to be lazy, Two .Beachbeds and a shade is 10 euros.There is also a few restaurants in the roads around the block and a walkway which has table tennis and pedal boats along side.There is also a skateboard area and a little further on a kids playpark which has a cafeteria.The Sunday market is also around this area.All these are within a max 15 mins walk.

The apartment is well located.It is of walking distance to shops,beach,restaurants and Fuengirola town centre.We have a private car park for those of you who rent a car with lift access from the car park as well as the main entrance.It is a very family orientated apartment and if you had no desire to go out any evenings offers you comfort with all your home from home facilities.

The apartment block is very secure and well maintained,It is n,t full of to many holiday makers as a lot of the apartments are lived in all year round by the local people who when you see them(which isn,t too often )are very friendly.
This is very much a family apartment and is well looked after.We would ask you to enjoy and relax but please treat as you would your own home.
The Costa del Sol region
Costa del Sol is in mainland Spain and is the one of the most popular holiday resorts in the country.It has a great choice of beaches and suits everyone as there are activities for the most active to the more quiet who prefare to be out in the country away from the hussle and bussal.It is also great for those of you who love shopping.

The Fuengirola / El Castillo area
Fuengirola is a large town and major tourist resort, withover 8 km of beaches, and even a medievalcastle.
It has a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with annual average temperatures of 18°C.
Fuengirola offers various facilities including bars, discos, sports clubs, a harbour, and long beaches right along the promenade intermitted with various hotels and restuiarants.
