The Castle Villa is a large private residence on the exclusive la Sierrazuela urbanization in Mijas Costa, close to all the amenities and fun of Fuengirola, but in a quiet, secluded location.
The villa boasts a beautiful private garden and pool and unrivalled views of the sea and the mountain village of Mijas.
Although Fuengirola has many fantastic restaurants and bars, with the property's own terrace and barbecue and the view of the sun setting over the mountains- you'll never want to leave.
Only a 5 minute drive to Fuengirola and a 15 minute drive to Benalmadena, local towns and beaches are easily accessible by car or taxi.
Also a few minutes from the villa located on the outskirts of Fuengirola, the Aqua Park is the best water park in the area providing an exhilarating day out for the family with plenty of activities. As well as the water park which includes wave pool, water chutes, kamikaze slide and Raft River there is a full programme of entertainment including aerobics, volleyball and mini-golf. There is an area especially for very small children and the park is well run with a strong emphasis on safe fun with trained lifeguards in abundance. Great fun for all!

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa Del Sol area enjoys typical Spanish culture with a colourful array of magnificent sights.
There are charming villages steeped in history, white sandy beaches and great golf courses spread all along the coastal area. The resorts here offer a diverse range from the lively and cosmopolitan, to the tranquil and traditional, promising a fun-packed holiday with something to satisfy everyone.
Benalmadena is just 10 mins drive from Fuengirola and is a very popular resort - especially with the British. It is always lively. There are plenty of things to see there as well as enjoying entertaining family days out to places like the theme park, Tivoli World, the fabulous Jardin de Las Aguilas (Garden of Eagles), see the penguins and dolphins at Selwo Marina and Sea Life or take a ride in the Cable Car to see breathtaking views of the coast. Surrounded by hills the area provides wonderful walking, horse riding & mountain biking. Go-karting is nearby.
The Fuengirola / Campo Mijas area
Fuengirola lies just 20km south west of Malaga airport half way between Malaga city and Marbella. It is the third major tourist development on this section of Spain's Costa del Sol along with Torremolinos and Benalmadena Costa.
Mijas lies just west of Malaga and is split into two distinct areas. Mijas Pueblo is the whitewashed village standing high up the mountain with spectacular views over the Mediterranean whilst Mijas Costa refers to the coastal resort down the mountain. Mijas Pueblo has long been attracting foreign residents attracted by its cobbled streets and quaint, old Spain ambience.
If Golf is your game, there are Costa del Sol golf courses to suit all levels of players and they are set in some beautiful surroundings, many with views of the sea and mountains. There are now more than 60 Costa del Sol Golf Courses stretching from Sotogrande in the west to the lesser known Velez Malaga in the east and they all have one thing in common - the fantastic sunny and dry climate allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it will be a real luxury to play on a Costa del Sol winter's day.
For the shoppers you can't miss the huge Miramar shopping and leisure centre on the right at the final exit off the A7 (old N340) road in the Marbella direction. It is opposite the landmark castle (Castillo Sohail). Opened at the beginning of 2004, this centre on three levels and has everything you need under one roof, from latest fashions or soft furnishings, flat screen television or a bouquet of flowers and much more - in short it is everything you could expect of a 21st century commercial centre. The Miramar is 5 Minutes drive from the villa and has extensive parking space on site
To dine locally in the evenings El Potro is a fantastic restaurant which is situated 5 minutes walk from the villa is possibly the best restaurant around. On a Sunday this is the best English carvery on the coast. Offering a huge selection of mouth watering vegetables including parsnips, cauliflower cheese, crackling, roast potatoes, mash potatoes, Yorkshire Puds and every type of roast meat.
The rest of the week they offer a great ala carte menu, which is excellent. During the week days you can eat from the menu del dia which is 9 euros a head. Good value for money for all the family, plus there is a games room downstairs for the children. Serves all day till late.

We request a £ 500.00 deposit cheque as security against damages. On satisfactory inspection of the property we return a cheque. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge from your deposit.
