Looking out over the blue Mediterranean waters is a beautiful, family owned villa. It offers a home from home for sun-worshipers, families and adventurous sight-seers. Inside the villa is bright and airy, while outside the large sea facing patio offers sun and some shade throughout the day. At the front of the villa there is a beautiful relaxation area with a swimming pool. Take in the sea and beach view to the back or relax by the pool. Enjoy a simple continental breakfast in the morning sun or an alfresco siesta in the evening shade.

This two bed, two bath, Spanish villa has been recently renovated. The spacious lounge has an excellent view of the sea and the distant mountains. It is comfortably furnished and enjoys both air conditioning, which can also be used as a heater, and ceiling mounted fans. TV, DVD and Stereo CD player are all provided. The television has a skybox attached and BBC1,2,3,4 and ITV1,2,3,4 as well as numerous other English speaking stations are available. Spanish terrestrial digital television is also available. The Kitchen/Dining area is well appointed with Cooker, Microwave and Fridge freezer. The dining table can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The master bedroom is facing the sea and has king size bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, ceiling fan and safe. The En suite is equipped with shower, wash hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside locker and ceiling mounted fan. The bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

The patio is large, facing south east, and has exquisite views of the Costa. The large patio dining table can easily facilitate 6 people and all can take advantage of the large overhanging parasol. Four very comfortable sun lounges are provided. Towels for use at the villa are provided. Please bring along your own beach towels. There is a very beautiful well managed relaxation area with swimming pool in front of the villa. While the villa overlooks the beach access to the beach is about 5 minutes walk. There are 2 good fish restaurants on the beach. There are also a number of other restaurants as well as bars and shops within walking distance.
Further details
The villa is part of a small mixed community (English and Spanish) of 19 villas most of which are owner occupied. A welcome pack is provided and a local villa owner acts as representative.
Conditions
Bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 25%. The remainder will become due 8 weeks before commencement of holiday.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa Del Sol region is renowned for its long sunny days and has magnificent beaches and mountain views. Within the immediate vicinity there are numerous excellent golf courses, water sports, horse riding, theme parks, shopping centres and restaurants, one of the best zoos in Europe, a world class marina, a casino, and stunning mountain villages. Whatever your tastes, there is something for everyone.
For the more adventurous, the historical old town of Granada and the amazing Alhambra Palace is just a few hours drive away or you can go skiing in the Sierra Nevadas. You can take a spectacular train journey to the beautiful mountain town of Ronda or visit the rock of Gibraltar, which is less than one and a half hour's drive, and see the famous Barbary Apes and pick up your duty free goods at rock bottom prices.
The Fuengirola / El Faro area
Fuengirola is vibrant and lively, mixed with the laid back atmosphere of the Mediterranean. There are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from, whatever your tastes, and with miles of golden sandy beaches, it is the perfect place to soak up those rays of sunshine. You can climb up to the remains of the Moorish castle of Sohail, or find somewhere to scuba dive, take a trip to find dolphins on a glass bottomed boat, or take the kids to the zoo or the water park. You can also shop in the weekly market on Tuesdays, a very popular market in the Costa del Sol.
10 minutes by car or a few stops on the train you can be in Benalmadena where you can enjoy Tivoli World - a "Disney Style" Amusement Park, take a cable car ride to the top of a mountain or go to the ultra modern Marina area to see the Sea Life Aquarium and Selwo Marina (sea life outdoor Marina).
Fuengirola caters for all tastes and ages, you will never be hard pressed to find something to do, and if you want to explore further a field, you can get a day trip to Gibraltar, Morocco, the caves in Nerja, Marbella, Malaga (Picasso Museum), Mijas, and other places of interest.

There are many flights from The UK to Malaga with BA, EasyJet or BMI. From Ireland both Aer Lingus and Ryanair have flights from Dublin, Cork or Belfast.
The villa is a 30 minute drive from Malaga airport. Car hire is available at the airport and is relatively cheap in Spain. A taxi from the airport to the villa should cost about €50. If you are not hiring a car you can get the train from the airport to Fuengirola for just €2.15per person. The train journey takes about 40 minutes as it makes many stops. The bus station in Fuengirola is very near he train station and a bus to close to the villa will cost about €2 per person from Fuengirola, however, I suggest when you are arriving that you take a taxi from the train station to the villa which will cost about €12.00.

Excellent directions from airport and welcome on arrival. Access to main coast road is good for travel up & down coast. Great location & facilities in villa satified all our needs. Residents helpful. Air conditioning was much appreciatted.Background road noise pales in comparison to views from terrace & master bed every morning. I expect compromises in Spain, we had very few here.Choice of resturants close by to suit local or english tastes. Enjoyed pool to ourselves and so conveniently located in patio next to entrance to the villa. |
