Luxury seafront apartment - 2 bedrooms/2 baths with wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace and lounge. The lounge is modern and well furnished with large flat-screen TV, DVD and sound system. Both bedrooms have comfortable king sized beds or twins in second bedroom if preferred, fitted wardrobes and each bedroom has its own full bathroom.
This is a great apartment to enjoy a relaxing, self catering, beach front holiday and offers space and comfort with a large terrace. What nicer than a simple breakfast on the terrace with some freshly ground coffee to complete your breakfast! The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with all the gadgets and utensils needed. Take a picnic to the beach in the cool bag and soak up the sun all day long.
As apartment is right on the seafront and just a short walk (3-4 minute) to Torreblanca station with a direct link to Malaga airport you can save on taxis/car hire and enjoy a complete rest. In the evening take a short stroll to one of the many seafront restaurants or beach bars - or dine on your own terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The lounge is bright and sunny and leads directly onto the terrace via double glazed patio doors. There is 37" flat screen TV to watch the all your usual channel, BBC ITV etc.. There is a DVD/CD player and a selection of films to watch for adults and children.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and full en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a super-king size bed (ideal when the apartment is being shared by two couples) or can be set up as twin beds if preferred, fitted wardrobes and drawer space - this bedroom also has its own full bathroom.
During the summer months we use luxury 100% cotton sheets and throws and in the winter months, cosy duvets. Additional linen is supplied for 2 week bookings. Table linen, tea towels, plenty of fluffy bathroom towels and bathmats are all provided. Beach towels are also supplied for your use at the pool or beach. There is an iron, ironing board and 2 hair-dryers.
There are fans in the apartment for summer use and heating in winter and both bathrooms have heated towel rails.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with absolutely everything you might need for a self catering holiday. Double glazed door leads directly to balcony. There is a breakfast table and chairs or dine on the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean, where there is a large table and 6 chairs - 2 of which are recliners. Sun blinds for when it's too hot!!
Free WiFi internet access is now installed in the apartment.

As the apartment is right on the seafront, it is ideal for a beach holiday and would also suit golfers who wish to combine the beach with a golfing holiday. There are 5 miles of promenade on your door step, so for your morning walk, why not walk towards Fuengirola Castle passing the Marina.
The residents' only swimming pool/garden area is open during summer months - 1st June to 15th September and is ideal to cool off after a day on the beach. The shallow end of the pool is perfect for the little ones and offers some shade during the afternoon in the hot summer months.
There is level access to the apartment block from the seafront and the lift serves just 10 apartments - two apartments on each floor. The apartment is on the third floor.
The nearest supermarket is 2 minutes away on the seafront where you can pick up your daily shopping. The larger supermarkets are in Los Boliches just along the seafront - delivery service is available from most of the supermarkets. There is a small shop at the entrance of Cristal building selling fresh fruit and veg., also fresh bread daily, plus lots of other goods.
On arrival day, the apartment will be available at 14.00 but I will always do my best to have the apartment ready sooner if you have an early flight. On departure day the apartment is to be vacated by 11.00 unless other arrangements have been agreed with me in advance.

The Costa del Sol region
Costa del Sol's mild climate, clean beaches and friendly atmosphere makes it a top turist destination, it's hot in summer, warm in winter - infact perfect to vistit any time of the year. There are plenty of watersports, restaurants, shopping and attractions for the children.
Malaga is a fascinating place to visit and I would advise taking a day trip, there are some lovely sights. The Picasso Museum, Botanical gardens and the Roman Theatre are all worth visiting. Take the train from Torreblanca station just a short walk from the apartment direct to Malaga City ( passing the airport on the way).
Mijas is a must visit too, facing the sea at an altitude of 425m, it is a picturesque mountain town, perfect to visit during the day or in the evening when you will have a wonderful view of Fuengirola. Easy to get there from the main bus station in town.
The Sierra Nevada mountain range is less that 2 hours away, why not ski in the morning and sun-bathe on the beach in the afternoon - it's possible from mid-December to end of March when the ski-resort is open.
Fuengirola is extremely family friendly and the long established Fuengirola Aqua Park is a great day out for all the family. The local Zoo, recently renamed Bio Parc Fuengirola is located just behind the New Town Hall - it is well worth a visit. During July and August it is open until midnight so that you can see the nocturnal animals.
The beautiful promenade which stretches from the Castle to Torreblanca is over 5 miles of beach and harbour - great for walking, jogging and cycling. Fuengirola was one of the original towns along the coast which existed well before the tourism boom with its narrow streets and lovely church. All the streets around the seafront are full of bars and restaurants.
CRISTAL apartment is at the quieter end of the seafront and there are many good restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Just by the entrance to the building there is a small deli selling fresh fruit/veg, bread etc. and the Calypso Bar.
There is a large supermarket, (open until late) within a few paces along the seafront., also chemist and post-office/newspaper shop. Los Boliches has an excellent local produce market together with a larger one in Fuengirola. Tuesday is Market day and a popular place to visit.
For the golfers of the family - there are over 40 fabulous golf courses, the nearest being at Mijas. There is a full list in the apartment together with lots of other information you might find useful.
