Luxury seafront apartment - 2 bedrooms/2 baths with wonderful 180º views of the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace and lounge. The lounge is modern and well furnished with large flat-screen TV, DVD and sound system . Both bedrooms have comfortable king sized beds or twins in second bedroom if preferred, fitted wardrobes and each bedroom has its own full bathroom.
Situated on the seafront at Torreblanca, Fuengirola - the golden sandy Torreblanca beach has again been awarded the European Blue flag - you can see the flag on the beach from the terrace.
This is a great apartment to enjoy a relaxing, self catering, beach front holiday and offers space and comfort with a large terrace. In my opinion there is nothing nicer than a simple breakfast on the terrace with freshly ground coffee or try the typical Spanish breakfast of ‘pan con ajo’ (toasted bread with olive oil, garlic and fresh tomato), squeeze a few oranges and breakfast is complete! The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering.
As apartment is right on the seafront and just a short walk (3-4 minute) to Torreblanca station with a direct link to Malaga airport you can save on taxis/car hire and enjoy a complete rest. In the evening take a short stroll to one of the many seafront restaurants or beach bars - or dine on your own terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The lounge is bright and sunny and leads directly onto the terrace via double glazed patio doors. The 37" flat screen TV is connected to a Satellite dish so that you can watch your usual English channels. There is a DVD/CD player and a selection of films to watch for adults and children.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and full en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a super-king size bed (ideal when the apartment is being shared by two couples) or can be set up as twin beds if preferred, fitted wardrobes and drawer space - this bedroom also has its own full bathroom.
A baby can also be accommodated, just let me know when booking if you require a cot.
During the summer months we use luxury 100% cotton sheets and throws and in the winter months, cosy duvets. Additional linen is supplied for 2 week bookings. Table linen, tea towels, plenty of fluffy bathroom towels and bathmats are all provided. Beach towels are also supplied for your use at the pool or beach. There is an iron, ironing board and 2 hair-dryers.
There are fans in the apartment for summer use and heating in winter and both bathrooms have heated towel rails.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with absolutely everything you might need for a self catering holiday. Double glazed door leads directly to balcony. There is a breakfast table and 6 chairs or dine on the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean, where there is a large table and chairs. Sun blinds for when it’s too hot!!

As the apartment is right on the seafront, it is ideal for a beach holiday and would also suit golfers who wish to combine the beach with a golfing holiday. There are 5 miles of promenade on your door step, so for your morning walk, why not walk towards Fuengirola Castle passing the Marina.
The residents' only swimming pool/garden area is open during summer months - 1st June to 15th September. The pool is larger than it looks in the photos and is ideal to cool off after a day on the beach. The shallow end of the pool is perfect for the little ones and offers some shade during the afternoon.
There is level access to the apartment block from the seafront and the lift serves just 10 apartments - two apartments on each floor. The apartment is on the third floor.
If you require internet access - there is an 'internet cafe' just across the road offering ADSL access, also cheap international phone calls and fax facilities, also many areas in Fuengirola are now covered by Wifi.

Satellite TV - including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & Sky News are available as well as freeview film channels and all the radio channels.

Conditions
PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS: A provisional booking may be made by telephone or e-mail, dates will be held for 48 hours awaiting payment of the 25% deposit.
CONFIRMATON OF BOOKING will be sent by e-mail once the deposit is received.
PAYMENT DETAILS: The non-refundable deposit secures the booking and can be paid by bank transfer/credit card to UK bank account, full details are on the rental agreement. Payments in Euros are also accepted. The final balance is payable 28 days before arrival.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Refundable damage deposit of £100 or equivalent in Euros is payable on arrival and will be fully returned on departure day if property is left in good condition.

The Costa del Sol region


Costa del Sol's mild climate, clean beaches and friendly atmosphere makes it a top turist destination, it's hot in summer, warm in winter - infact perfect to vistit any time of the year. There are plenty of watersports, restaurants, shopping and attractions for the children.
Malaga is a fascinating place to visit and I would advise taking a day trip, there are some lovely sights. The Picasso Museum, Botanical gardens and the Roman Theatre are all worth visiting. Take the train from Torreblanca station just a short walk from the apartment direct to Malaga City ( passing the airport on the way).
Mijas is a must visit too, facing the sea at an altitude of 425m, it is a picturesque mountain town, perfect to visit during the day or in the evening when you will have a wonderful view of Fuengirola. Easy to get there from the main bus station in town.
The Sierra Nevada mountain range is less that 2 hours away, why not ski in the morning and sun-bathe on the beach in the afternoon - it's possible from mid-December to end of March when the ski-resort is open.
The Fuengirola / Torreblanca area
Fuengirola is extremely family friendly and the long established Fuengirola Aqua Park is a great day out for all the family. The local Zoo, recently renamed Bio Parc Fuengirola is located just behind the New Town Hall - it is well worth a visit. During July and August it is open until midnight so that you can see the nocturnal animals.
The beautiful promenade which stretches from the Castle to Torreblanca is over 5 miles of beach and harbour - great for walking, jogging and cycling. Fuengirola was one of the original towns along the coast which existed well before the tourism boom with its narrow streets and lovely church. All the streets around the seafront are full of bars and restaurants.
CRISTAL apartment is at the quieter end of the seafront and there are many good restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Just by the entrance to the building there is a Newspaper shop and the Calypso Bar.
There is a large supermarket, (open until late) within a few paces along the seafront., also chemist, post-office/newspaper shop and telephone kiosk (offering ADSL access and cheap international calls). Los Boliches has an excellent local produce market together with a larger one in Fuengirola. Tuesday is Market day and a popular place to visit.
For the golfers of the family - there are over 40 fabulous golf courses, the nearest being at Mijas. There is a full list in the apartment together with lots of other information you might find useful.

There are many airlines that fly to Malaga airport such as Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair and Monarch. Once at Malaga airport why not catch the train. The new train station at the Airport Terminal 3 is now very close to the Arrivals Hall and the fare is 1.60 Euros and 1.65 Euros at weekend, (children under 6 years travel free). Trains now run every 20 minutes, the journey takes just under 30 minutes and the trains are always on time. From Torreblanca Station it is just a 4 minute walk (slightly downhill) to the seafront apartment; you can actually see the apartment building from the station and save on taxis and car hire. Alternatively there are taxis waiting outside the airport, fare to Fuengirola is about 35 Euros and takes approximately 20 minutes.
A car is not essential as the apartment is right on the seafront. However should you wish to hire a car there are many local companies who will deliver to the apartment and all the National companies are at the airport. Parking is available on the seafront or directly behind the apartment.

A beautiful apartment in a great location and a very warm welcome from Jenny. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable for 2 couples. Hope to be back soon. Julie, Steve, Chris & Sarah (Leicester).
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment which is lovely and comfortable and spacious. We loved the large balcony and spent lots of time out there catching the sun and "people watching". The location is good for the transport links and unlike England the buses & trains are always on time. We certainly didn't miss the car. We have stayed in Fuengirola before but this apartment has spoilt us for the future, it is so well equipped and bright, all the rooms are well lit too in the evening. Helen & Brian, Cheshire.

Thank you Jenny for a very warm welcome on our arrival at your beautiful apartment. Everything we could possibly need is here including an abundance of towels and all the facilities in the apartment. We have had a wonderful 12 day stay. We have stayed at numerous apartments throughout the area and this has to be the best with being so central to all amenities. The bus, train, shops are all within 5 minutes walk. We have eaten in some lovely restaurants, including our favourite Don Jesús and the Royal Indian. We very much echo the comments made by the previous guests. Those little extras and attention to detail ensured we had a very comfortable stay. We were pleased that we took up Jenny's recommendation to use the train from Malaga airport - so convenient and an excellent train service. Ticket machine and instructions in English & easy to use. Above all a lot cheaper than other modes of transport at 6.20 Euros in total for a family of 4. Highly recommend the water park in Fuengirola, kept the kids entertained for a full day - 48 Euros for a family ticket. Good supermarket a minutes’ walk from the apartment. Lovely selection of fresh bread and fruit. Jenny, thank you for making us feel so welcome in Torreblanca, your friendly approach and attention to detail and cleanliness of the apartment ensured we all had a holiday to remember. My first experience of Mainland Spain has been wonderful. I could not have imagined such a super apartment. It is all one could wish for and has the extra benefits of thoughtful personal touches.
