This lovely 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for those who want to be close to the town and beautiful beachfront of Fuengirola, but also enjoy a little peace and quiet in of the apartment or around the lovely communal swimming pool and garden area.
Only a 5 minute walk from the Torreblanca Train Station (with direct link from the Airport) or short 20 minute drive from Malaga Airport, this a very accessible property for your holiday.
The apartment is air conditioned in the lounge (included but monitored usage!) which is very spacious with a dining area & English TV via the newly installed IPTV box, providing BBC/ITV and many other UK Freeview channels (not incl. in rental price).
The apartment now also has high speed unlimited WiFi internet installed and available from just £15 per week or from €50 per month for longer stays, with speeds averaging 6Mbps! WiFi is available as a "combo" extra with UK TV from £25 per week!
The apartment also has a full bathroom with bath and shower, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom and a large southwest facing patio which gets lots of sun and overlooks the communal gardens and pool area.
There are supermarkets, restaurants and bars all within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment is also a 5-10min walk to the golden sandy beaches which stretch from Carvajal - Torreblanca - Los Boliches - Fuengirola.
Transport is easy to and from the apartment location:
With a Rent-a-car: 20mins from Malaga Airport, 10mins to Benalmadena, 30mins to Marbella & Puerto Banus, 45mins to Ronda.
Electric Train (reccommended!): From Malaga Airport direct link to Torreblanca Station and then just a 3 minute walk to the apartment. Torreblanca train station is also then a short 2 minute ride to Fuengirola Town Centre. The full train route runs from Fuengirola to Malaga daily running every 20 minutes and stopping at all towns in between.
Bus: Various bus routes between all major towns and cities in Andalucia!
**Please note, the apartment has a lift up to floor 4, but there is then 1 small flight of steps (around 6-8) up to the apartment front door and so it may not be suitable for those less mobile or with young children and buggies. The hill to the beachfront is steep, though short at approx 300 metres and just a couple mins walk on to the flat seafront which stretches for many kilometers and is lined with restaurants/bars.**

"An Amazing Apartment/Location"
I traveled with my daughter (13) my best friend and her daughter (11) for 9 days to this Apartment El Castillo. With the help and guidance from Kate and Scott this was our chosen holiday home and what can I say "Perfect". We landed hopped on the train 25 minutes later we were in Torreblanca which followed a walk up a slight hill (not good if you are wheelchair bound but if you have a small child in buggy it would be manageable if you had a strong partner). We were met by Scott who had kindly open all windows for us has it was hot the day we arrived and what an amazing surprise we had when we entered the Apartment. The views where stunning at the front looking over to mountains one way and the sea view the other. From the back of the Apartment we over looked the pool and had sun on the balcony from morning to night. The girls went to the pool every day, we had a sunbeds without any problems and were able to watch them whilst still getting ready ourselves. We had everything as you would say "home from home"....We stayed in 4 nights as we were late by the pool and beach and ate out 4 nights. 2 of those being in Fish Alley, We got the train into Fuengirola and walked back both times. The other 2 times we went to Sandpipers which I highly recommend excellent food/value for money/service. Plenty to do here Water park hopped on train, Malaga Central hopped on train, Benalmadena port hopped on train and the list can go on. If I could have asked for one thing and it was only me! It would have been internet access....but the girls said they did not mind and were happy to walk down the front to the internet cafe. Plus also your right near a supermarket for fresh bread every day etc., Excellent choice made by Scott and Kate for us, we will definitely be back again next year. Highly recommended ~ thank you

"What more do you want"
Easy to get to from the train station, the only negative was the hill from the station if you are not an active person or wheelchair bound. And some small steps to the apartment door from the lift.
The apartment is great and has all the requirements for four people, and very comfortable. We eat in and out and knowing some of the area went to some good restaurants locally. The supermarket down the road is very good and prices are on par with the larger supermarkets.
We used the Mardrid Playa Restaurant on the beach for the sunbeds and comes with a bottle of Cava (if you like a bit of pampering or treat). Great people there and food (Sardines) .
Booking the apartment was easy and fast with no problems and they met us with the keys with no problem, just give them a call when you land.
Very helpful if you need help just ring and were on hand. great service.
