Villa Blanca is located at the West end of Fuengirola, very close to the Castle (see below). It is situated at the end of a small cul de sac and you have fabulous views of the sea and the castle. The orientation of the property is South which is, of course, the best. The beach, a big shopping centre (Myramar) and the town are all within a short walk. Having a car will enable you to visit further afield but you can enjoy a great holiday and access all you really need without one.
Villa Blanca has a beautiful, open-plan, split-level design making it very spacious, light and airy with sea views from most rooms. The design is quite different from the norm with high, sloped, beamed ceilings, modern tiled floors, huge double-glazed windows and French doors. The property makes use of natural wood, brickwork and plaster finishes on the inside. The lower garden, porch/terrace and pool area are reminiscent of Balinese style with wood-effect tiling and natural stone and marble. There are 5 terraced areas around the Villa giving everyone plenty of space to do their own thing.
The Villa is of course fully equipped for your stay and includes all of the necessary bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking pots and pans and utensils. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horse, iron and board, all of the necessary indoor and outdoor furniture including a portable barbecue (portable because there are several different terraces where you might want to eat). The kitchen is fully equipped with electric halogen cooker, electric oven, fridge freezer etc. There is also sky TV providing all of the main UK TV channels and nice large TV to enjoy them on as well as a DVD player. There is also a CD hi fi for when you need some music.
At the beginning of your stay, the Villa and all its contents will have been properly cleaned and freshly laundered bed linen and towels will be ready for you.
We do quite naturally kindly ask you to respect our property and take care of it and its contents at all times as you would your own home. Please do not take indoor furniture outside.
In particular, we ask you to take special care to be sure that all windows, doors and grills are securely locked when you go out because we do not accept any responsibility for your possessions during your stay.
For your continued enjoyment of the Villa, we need to maintain the gardens and pool regularly which means we need to access these areas during your stay. In addition, if you are staying for more than one week, we will need access to the Villa at the end of each week to change bed linen and towels. We will attend to these matters as quickly and discreetly as possible of course to ensure any disturbance is minimised.

The three bedrooms are all doubles and with three bathrooms or shower/rooms, everyone has their own privacy and space. The lounge and dining room total 52 m2 (some 550 sq ft) so there is plenty of space for dining and relaxing. The kitchen breakfast room offers plenty of room too at 22 m2 (some 240 sq ft). There are great sea views from most rooms and the beach is 4 minutes walk. Location is an important factor to get the most out of your holiday and at Villa Blanca, with its beautiful private pool and gardens located so near the beach and only 7 mins walk to a large shopping mall and supermarket, the same distance as from the town, means a car is not indispensable.

The lower garden, porch/terrace and pool area are reminiscent of Balinese style with wood-effect tiling and natural stone and marble. There are 6 terraced areas around the Villa giving everyone plenty of space to do their own thing. There are chairs and loungers and lawned areas so there is plenty of space for sunbathing.

Villa Blanca is available for holiday rentals all year round at the weekly rates set out further below. The villa is available for groups of up to 6 people. However, there is also a travel cot so an extra infant over this number is no problem.
The whole property is privately owned so none of the facilities are shared with others.
There are some steps from the garden entrance that lead down to the Villa which, internally, is split levelled so we do not think our property is suitable for wheelchair-bound persons or others with severe mobility problems.
I started letting Villa Blanca to holiday-makers in 2007. Over the years, I have carefully maintained the property and its contents and have received so many compliments that I have lost count. Location, standards, size, views and facilities are the most important aspects of a holiday property and I believe Villa Blanca scores very highly on all counts. My guests seem to think so too.
Conditions
To secure a booking, a deposit of 20% of the total amount payable for your booking will be required. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the first day of your stay together with a further refundable deposit of 10% (subject to a minimum of £250) of the total. This refundable deposit is to cover any damages caused during your stay but, of course, the occasional broken cup or glass is considered as normal.

The Costa del Sol region


Fuengirola is approximately 20 kms West of Malaga airport and is a busy, thriving, fast-growing, lively town with appeal for all age groups. It boasts great beaches all the way from Los Boliches at the East end of town to and beyond the 1200 year old Moorish Castle at the West end. There are hundreds of restaurants and bars of all types and standards and all types of cuisines can be found. Night life is great fun too with dozens of night clubs or discos, a number of which have shows or live music of different types on a regular basis. The Mijas racecourse (horse-racing) is only three kilometres away too and has lots of bars and restaurants too.
The Fuengirola / El Castillo area
The Costa del Sol boasts some 40 golf courses so you are close to one wherever you are. Nearby there is also the Lew Hoad tennis club, several riding stables, Fuengirola’s aquapark and, in Benalmadena, there is the Amusement Park Tivoli World.
Remember that Marbella, Malaga city, Benalmadena, Mijas, Torremolinos, Cabopino, Puerto Banus are all with a radius of 25 kilometres of Fuengirola. Be aware too that Ronda, Gibraltar, the Lakes and mountains of El Chorro, Granada (Alhambra Palace) and many other super places to visit can be accessed easily by car or on one of the many coach excursions on offer.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Blanca,everything there to make a stress free holiday,for three generations,two very small boys included.The views from the villa are fabulous,with the huge terrace perfect for al fresco dining and watching cruise ships sail by.The pool was lovely and the gardens beautiful. The villa is tastefully decorated and David has provided his guests with a lovely home from home even down to a well stocked library..There is a short walk downhill to the main shopping mall,you can always be lazy and taxi back for 4 euros,or stroll across the bridge ,amble past the castle and beach to more lively activities in town.David had even provided a baby buggy fantastic for our two year old! We would definately return to Villa Blanca again. |

We stayed at this gorgeous villa in June, it was exceptionally well presented and decorated with an excellent attention to detail. The pool was gorgeous and gardens very well kept. Lovely view of the castle and the sea and a short walk to the beach or to town. We hired a car but hardly needed it because everything was quite handy. Would highly recommend. |

Villa Blanca is available for holiday rentals all year round at the weekly rates shown. The villa is available for groups of up to 6 people (plus a child who sleeps in a travel cot).
For any week that goes over a month end, the above amounts are pro-rated according to the number of days that fall in each month. For the purposes of this calculation, the first day of your stay will be taken into account but not the day of departure.
In the months of May to September, bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
Please also note that the weeks that include Easter and the Christmas/New year periods carry a £250 supplement.
There are no other charges for the full use of the property. However, please note that we include an allowance of 100kW of electrical consumption per week which should be ample. Any consumption in excess of this will be charged at 10p (15 centimos) per kW.
