Pueblo Castillo townhouse is situated in an exclusive small complex in Fuengirola. It has been renovated to a very high standard which we hope will be enjoyed by all that choose to stay here. The luxury is in the prime location and is unbeatable. It is just 50 metres walk to the beach, less than 1 minute and is situated beside a new children's park.
The centre of Fuengirola is a 10 minute walk, 15 minute stroll along the promenade. All amenities are on hand therefore a car isn't necessary. We have shops, bars, restaurants in the immediate vicinity and a Sunday market just up the road. The shopping mall is a 5-6 minute walk away.
Most attractions are situated in West Fuengirola, where the house is situated and all are within walking distance.

We have made the utmost effort to provide everything you will need for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday in our home. We ourselves enjoy these comforts on our frequent short visits. We have air conditioning installed in all rooms, both hot and cold.
The television receives the free satelite channels available.
The electrical appliances are all of a high standard and a very convenient extra is the large fridge/freezer with water/ice dispenser that runs off the mains and is filtered of all impurities. This is god send as you won't need to be buying heavy cannisters of water.
You'll find that the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for 7 people and more. Quality bed linen and towels are provided for all members of your group and will be changed on a weekly basis for multiple week stays at no extra cost. We offer beach towels for hire at 3€ each, per week. This can save valuable room in your suitcases.
We have a toilet on the ground floor, leading off the kitchen patio but as it has no shower or bath- just a toilet and basin, we have not marked it as 'bathroom' as we feel it would be misleading. The top floor bedroom has an en suite and the 2 bedrooms on the middle floor share a family bathroom.
A travel cot, highchair and stroller are available for hire at 2€ per night. We have non slip bathmats in each bathroom to prevent accidents.
We are pleased to offer Wi Fi free of charge.

The very well maintained gardens are just outside the front patio. They are open all year. The gardener works 5 days a week as takes great pride in his work which will be evident to all that observe the result of such enthusiasm. There are tropical palms. passion flower and many tropical plants and flowers, set in the middle of white washed houses. In all, there are approximately 40 houses in the complex but only 20 give onto the garden area and then only 12 of them have the pool outside their door. Ours in one of these fortunate properties.
This is a gated community with a security guard on duty all through the night.
The pool is unheated and is open almost all year. It will be unavailable for about 2 weeks each winter to allow for annual maintenance. The gardens are however open all year for sunbathing. In summer, we have a lifeguard on duty as it can be busy in the afternoons and Sundays. Throughout the week, in the mornings, you may find you have it practically to yourself. The pool is ofcourse very cold throughout the winter months and our prices reflect the fact you will probably not find the temperature warm enough for swimming.
There is free parking on the streets just beside the complex for those who wish to rent a car. Due to it's proximity to the beach, it may take somtime to find an available parking space during the day in July or August and also on Sundays as there is a street market just up the road on this day of the week.
Parking is available on street, free of charge. Ofcourse in the summer months, it is very difficult to find a space and you may have to go round the block a few times to find a vacated space. We do NOT have private or secure parking.
We regret we are unable to accept groups of friends if the majority of members are under 25 years.
We are flexible to a certain degree with regards to changeover day in winter- please enquire. The rest of the year we have to be stricter.
We try to be flexible with checking and checkout times but we must be strict when we have back to back bookings.
Bookings of less than a week are accepted- please enquire on prices and availability.

The Andalucia region
As many of you will know, the Costa del Sol enjoys one of the best climates in Europe. The hot summers and mild winters make it a popular destination for not only those from other European countries but for the Spanish Nationals too.
Malaga airport is very well communicated with most cities in Europe and even New York. Winter tourism is very popular due to the short flying time from Scandinavia, England and the continent. No need to spend hours on a plane to reach here! The house is situated just 20 minutes drive from the airport.
Fuengirola is a convenient base to visit other cities within regions of Andalucia. Thanks to the motorway network, most can be visited in a day. Even North Africa can be visited on a day trip by taking a ferry from Algeciras. Madrid is 2 and half hours from Malaga by high speed train.
As an important tourist destination, Fuengirola certainly provides much entertainment and amenities and is constantly offering more and more to the discerning visitor.
This town has been awarded for being one of the cleanest towns in Spain for 2 years running.
This year, many of the beaches here were awarded the 'Blue flag' by the European Union. One such beach is the one situated next to the house, named 'Playa Santa Amalia'
The ruins of Sohail castle, built by the Moors, is just a 5 minute walk from the house and is venue to concerts, festivals and sports events throughout the year.
A market is held on Sunday mornings, just 1 minute walk away. The very large Tuesday market, locally known as the 'baratillo' is held as it's english name suggests, on Tuesday mornings. Thoroughly recommended and many bargains can be found there. It's the largest outdoor market in Spain.
Aquapark is a 12- 15 minute walk away.
The award winning zoo is also 12 minutes walk away.
Crazy golf is within 12 minutes walk.
The October fair is very important for locals. They hold celebrations lasting a whole week. Singing, dancing, concerts, competitions etc are enjoyed by all and visitors are welcome by everyone. Children will love the fun fair- adults too maybe.

"Perfect summer getaway with small children and grandparents"
Very pleasant property with a lovely location overlooking the pool, in a very secure walled garden. Very suitable for young children (& grandparents). Excellently equipped kitchen, especially the fridge/freezer.

"Excellent service & comfortable"
The service is very good, from the beginning (the booking) till the end (departure). The house is a home and it is situated on a perfect location (beach, shops, restaurants, near Malaga). The garden is a 'beauty'.

"Looking for that perfect R n R getaway, Pueblo Castillo ticks all the boxes!"
Just returned from a super week in Fuengirola staying at Pueblo Castillo. Newly refurbished, this comfortable holiday home is perfect for a relaxing sunny getaway. Conveniently situated just 50m from the beach with shops, restaurants and bars within minute's walk along the promenade. Jane, the agent was there to meet us on arrival and showed us around. She also left her mobile number if we needed any information or assistance. The holiday home is a three storey terraced house beside gardens and a pool. We travelled with six adults but the house would be suitable for families as it has a residential feel, however, this might be too restrictive for "young adults" who may perfer a livelier atmosphere. We had a very enjoyable stay and plan to return and have no hesitation in recommending this holiday home.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our holiday home. The location really is convenient for those who don't want to use a car. The effort spent on renovating was obviously well worth while. The ground floor shower is, as you said, not advertised on the advert as a bathroom as we feel it would be misleading. As we take a maximum of 7 people, we felt that 2 bathrooms, the 1st floor and 2nd floor, would be ample and chose to use the ground floor shower as a handy place to store the sunbeds and relax chairs we provide for our guests use. They do tend to suffer from the sun and salty sea air when stored outside.
We are pleased that you are planning on renting from us again and that your holiday was relaxing- Thank you again for the review and we're sure that potential guests will find it very useful.
