This is a STUDIO/SMALL FAMILY ROOM (for up to 3 persons) situated on the waterfront INSIDE the quality Hotel El Puerto. It has a lounge/bedroom, an open-plan kitchenette, a bathroom & a very sunny balcony with wonderful sea views.For up to 3 persons. Self-contained/self-catering apartment on the 14th floor. Comfort/reassurance of being INSIDE the quality Hotel El Puerto (this is unusual but we own apartments within the Hotel). Situated in the heart of Fuengirola with seafront & fine golden sandy beaches on the doorstep (just a minor narrow coast road between the hotel, the sea & beautiful beaches). Very central - surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants (approx 200 on your doorstep), supermarket (within 200m) & shops.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol has a wonderful climate - sunny and hot for the spring and summer months, and mild during the winter - the perfect year round holiday destination. There is plenty to see and do - or just relax on the golden sands! Why not take a visit to nearby places of interest in Andalucia - Granada with the Alhambra Palace, Sevilla and its magnificent cathedral, or Ronda with its huge cliffs and spectacular drawbridge. Perhaps you like sport? Well, there are lots of watersports to try, and golf as well, across the Costa. Or if you just fancy lazing with a book soaking up the rays, taking a quiet dip, then heading out in the evening for a nice meal or to a few bars, the Costa del Sol has it all. It won't let you down!
Fuengirola / Centre by the Port area
Fuengirola is a wonderful destination - vibrant and lively mixed with the laid back atmosphere of the Mediterranean. It has no end of restaurants and bars to choose from, whatever your tastes, and with miles of golden sandy beaches, it is the perfect place to soak up those rays of sunshine. You can climb up to the remains of the Moorish castle of Sohail, or find somewhere to scuba dive, take a trip to find dolphins on a glass bottomed boat, or take the kids to the zoo or the waterpark. You can also shop in the weekly market on Tuesdays, a very popular market in the Costa del Sol.
10 minutes by car or a few stops on the train you can be in Benalmadena where you can enjoy Tivoli World - a "Disney Style" Amusement Park, take a cable car ride to the top of a mountain! or go to the ultra modern Marina area to see the Sea Life Aquarium and Selwo Marina (sealife outdoor Marina).
Fuengirola caters for all tastes and ages, you will never be hard pressed to find something to do, and if you want to stretch further afield, you can get a day trip to Gibraltar, Morocco, the caves in Nerja, Marbella, Malaga (Picasso Museum), Mijas, and other places of interest! Come and soak up the sun.

FLY TO MALAGA - Fuengirola is just (15 miles) 24 km from the airport
VERY LOW COST CONNECTION AIRPORT TO RESORT: Train: approx 40 mins about £1.25 single Taxi: approx 20 mins about £20 per taxi each way (approx £5 per person for a party of 4).
If you take the train it is ONLY 350m walk to the Hotel El Puerto from the train station.
Bus to Fuengirola - frequent from Malaga.

Local English speaking Manager. Ample lifts - you are INSIDE a quality Hotel. Bedding, linen & towels provided. Area flat - easy for elderly, wheelchairs & pushchairs to get about IF REQUIRED - 24hr secure & part covered pay parking in Port opposite (in the low season on road parking is usually available).
The Hotel staff take annual leave each November except for 24hr reception, maintenance and security staff.
