The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol is the most popular holiday destination in Spain and boasts a beautiful climate. The area boasts over 300 days of sunshine and is perfect for summer and winter holidays. The Costa del Sol offers something for everyone: beautiful beaches, a fantastic number of golf courses, mountains with great views and the possibility of skiing, chic towns such as Puerto Banus, and old historic traditional Spanish towns.
The Fuengirola / Pueblo Lopez area
The villa is set in the town centre of Fuengirola in a residential area, so there in no need for a car. Pueblo Lopez is a beautiful area for an evening stroll, particularly in the evening when you will be able to hear traditional Spanish music drifting out from the bars. There are excellent restaurants to sample the local gastronomy (all competitively priced), an aqua park for those seeking fun and adventure, a zoo, exclusive shops, shopping malls, supermarkets and markets.
Fuengirola in famous for five miles of sandy beaches and a sweeping coastline. It is a compact seaside resort and town with an excellent selection of services. It is just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and local train station privdes easy access to other porpular holiday destinations such as Torreblanca, Arroyo de la Miel and Torremelinos.
