About the home

The Loft is a perfect retreat for guests looking to relax and enjoy all that Cheshire has to offer. Private and unbelieveably spacious with vaulted beamed ceiling and a fantastic example of heritage meets contemporary.

A fully equipped kitchen has Le Creuset pans and dishes and Denby crockery. Drink champagne from Vera Wang flutes and relax on the large and comfy Marks & Spencer sofa with chaise.

The bathroom has a Kudos walk in shower cubicle and the cosy and comfortable king size bed has white cotten linen, Dorma throw and hotel style duvet.

The separate dressing room makes it easy to keep the bedroom immaculate.

Complimentary WiFi is provided along with undercover parking.

The historic City of Chester is a must with its Roman origins and quirky shopping rows. Frodsham is just 2 miles away and is a medieval market town (Thursday is market day). Castle Park in Frodsham has an Arts Centre with exhibitions (all free) and lovely restored gardens. Castle Park House has been restored and is a fantastic example of the period. You can take the train from Helsby to Frodsham, Chester, Manchester or visit
the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales and take the tram up the Great Orme for some fantastic coastal scenery.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Cheshire region

Easy access by train, bus and car to the Roman city of Chester and the famous medieval Chester Rows for shopping. Only 8 minutes by train to Chester and 50 minutes to the centre of Manchester. Ideal location for access to Liverpool. 10 minutes away from Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village.

Wirral Peninsula is just a short drive and just 25 minutes away from Liverpool boasting the stunning waterfront and home to Tate Liverpool, Museum of Liverpool, Maritime Museum, The Beatles Story & the World Heritage, Albert Docks and Liverpool One shopping area.

If you enjoy the outdoors, walkers and cyclists can start the Cheshire Sandstone Trail from nearby Frodsham to Whitchurch. Also nearby is Manley watersports centre and adventrure trail for sailing and wind surfing. Just 20 minutes away from North Wales offering many excellent walks and rambles.

Excellent golf courses, including some championship standard courses. Nearby at Helsby, Frodsham, Portal and Sutton Hall.

The Frodsham / Helsby area

Helsby is a well kept village and the railway station is award wiining for its charm. The Helsby Arms is close by and serves freshly prepared meals every day (Sunday Roasts are so good). The Travellers Rest just outside Frodsham is also worth a visit again for innovative fresh food (especially fish dishes). Post Office, Fish and Chips, Chinese Takeaway and Curry house all within a few minutes walk.

Frodsham is 2 miles away and is a medieval market town dating back to the Domesday Book. For over 800 years a market has been held every Thursday. Local butchers, Cowards, supply excellent quality meat & Sue Coward's famous pies are baked on the premises. Nearby is Castle Park Arts Centre and the restored Edwardian gardens. Frodsham is also famous for being the birthplace of Gary Barlow from Take That and many female fans stay at The Courtyard to visit Frodsham.
