A superb modern 2 Bedroom, 2 En suites apartment, with large private South facing balcony terrace offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding countryside. Furnished to a very high standard, NEW FRIDGE/FREEZER, WASHING MACHINE and SATELLITE RECEIVER fitted JUNE '13. The apartment is perfect for all types of holidays, in this beautiful village!

The apartment offers bright spacious accommodation for upto 4 people plus Cots available on request, and features a fully fitted Kitchen with appliances. The spacious Living area has double doors opening onto the large private South Facing balcony, two leather sofas, and is open to the Dining Area with large table with seating for six. The Bedrooms have either a double bed or twin beds, they also have built-in wardrobes and both have En suite Shower Rooms.

Situated within the old part of the stunning, award winning village of Frigiliana, with its white washed houses and cobbled streets. This apartment is ideally located to explore and search out the many tucked away restaurants and small bars, each with their own individual atmosphere. Frigiliana offers the perfect holiday mix to suit every kind of holiday from the young to the old.

The area is renowned for its mild climate, boasting an average of 320 days sunshine per year. It is a walkers paradise, being on the edge of the Almijara Tejeda Mountain range and national park. For the beach lovers they are just 10 minutes away, with the a large selection of beaches in Nerja or along the pictureque coast road.

Nerja is a popular coastal resort, appealing to the young and old alike due to its great restaurants, fantastic atmosphere, lively fiestas and traditional Spanish ambience, the Balcon de Europe is lovely to walk along in the evening and 17th Century church is well worth a visit.

The famous 'Cuevo de Nerja' caves are also well worth a visit with some breathtaking scenery. The nearest golf course is approximately 15 minutes away, and at Burriana Beach in Nerja all types of water sports are available including scuba diving. During the winter months from November through to late April for those who like to ski the Sierra Nevada ski area is less than and hour and a half drive away.

On the South facing balcony, which is partly covered, there is a table and six chairs for enjoying alfresco dining, and two sun loungers, offering uninterrupted views towards the Mediterranean and surrounding countryside.

The pool is exclusive to this development, and has secure card entry, the large freeform pool also has a jacuzzi area, with plenty of space surrounding with lawn, terraced area and showers, the pool also offers panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and mountains. There are also changing rooms with showers and toilets. The pool is open from mid April to late October.

Frigiliana

Frigiliana has won several awards as the prettiest village in Andalucia. The old village is a labyrinth of winding cobbled streets connected by hidden inner courtyards and alleyways, lining these tiny cobbled streets are beautiful houses whose balconies overflow with colouful bouganvillea and geranium flowers. The village square has a church dating back to 1640. There is a selection of shops offering superb local produce including a Fishmonger, Bakers, Cake shops and many small local bars, cafes and restaurants offering good local food . There is a weekly market on Tuesdays. The village is also famous for its muscatel wine, olive oil and honey. The village also has a large municipal swimming pool (usually open in July and August) and sports centre. The friendly townsfolk of Frigiliana are welcoming and eager to share their fiestas and events with visitors, including the spectacular 3 cultures festival which happens at the end of August. There is a regular bus service to Nerja, and 2 children's playgrounds.

"Fabulous apartment in centre of friendly village"

Booking of the apartment was extremely easy with Louise and the apartment was exactly as described. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and soft towels provided. In the centre of the small, friendly village, giving easy access to restaurants and shops. Access is via quite a lots of steps which may prove difficult for some travellers. Excellent value for 2 bedroom & 2en-suites accommodation. Beautiful views from large balcony. Excellent communal pool - large and again extremely clean. Would be very happy to return to this property and to recommend to family & friends..

"A pretty village is good base to explore the area"

Very nice apartment set in very pretty village with amazing views down the valley. Enjoyed exploring and found some lovely beaches. Worth taking a decent map and comprehensive guide book of the whole area to help you explore. Granada was worth the drive (1.5hrs each way) and Nerja is a lovely resort with plenty going on and a good range of shops. Steps up and down give you a good work out - great leg toning! Lovely to wander around the village in the evenings. Parking clearly must be hectic during peak season - the new multi-storey is closed at the moment but hopefully someone will buy it and re-open it soon. If you want to explore the region you'll definitely need a car, but if you just want to chill you can manage without a car once you get here.

"Fantastic apartment in a beautiful town, in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean"

We spent two months in this apartment in January-March, 2011: The apartment is absolutely lovely, well-equipped, with a huge south-facing terrace overlooking the hills to the Mediterranean. Two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath, great kitchen and a nice sitting and eating area. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to deal with, and actually mailed the keys to the apartment to us in Canada before we left. On arrival, it was just as it is pictured in the listing. It quickly felt like home, and was a wonderul place to spend the winter. I can think of absolutely nothing to criticize about the property: It was exactly as advertised, and we would return in a heartbeat.
