About this location
The Andalucia region
This is the area the Spanish call "Axarquia" where the mountains of the Sierra Almijada meet the sea. There are rocky coves and sandy beaches, mountain walks and friendly tapas bars.
The stunning Alhambra Palace is less than an hour away and the area has a rich history of Moorish influence.
Spanish fiestas are dedicated to fun, colour and noise! In nearby Nerja they are in May and October and in Frigiliana in June and the last week in August.
The village of Frigiliana is one of the most beautiful in all of Spain, with cobbled streets and flower-filled patios.

"Typical Spanish property in a typical Spanish hamlet"
A well maintained and very Spanish house that provides all the modern equipment and facilities to enhance you stay.
There is a secluded garden with a pool, which we did not use, because we were there in January.
A wood burning stove in the Salon provided a very cosy ambience in the cool winter evenings. I am sure it would not be needed in the summer.
Casa Rosa is located approx. half way between Nerja and Frigliana. There is a regular bus service to both, but a car is a must if you wish to explore this beautiful part of Spain
