About the home

A truly 5 star apartment with beautifull private pool and gardens entry to the property is via electric gates.With panoramic mountain and sea views, the apartment comprises 2 bedrooms both en suite, garden and BBQ. Also the facilities of a private swimming pool and parking are provided.
The apartment is south east facing with exellent shade in the summer afternoons and the exclusive use of the garden and pool for the sun lovers.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine and dish washer.
In the lounge there is a 42" flat screen TV with SKY channels, a stereo system with an IPod dock and a blue ray player. WIFI is available at 5€ per day.
Towels are provided for use within the apartment at the start of your holiday. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
The high specifiaction en-suite bathroom and shower rooms are fitted with premium quality fittings.
One bed room has a 5ft double bed and en-suite bathroom and the other bedroom has two 4ft6" double beds and en-suite shower room.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol/Malaga area has long been a popular destination for over 30 years, with over 300 days of sunshine every year. With excellent road and rail systems travelling is very easy. You can enjoy the history and culture of cities such as Malaga or the beautiful golden beaches along the coast. There is also walking in the mountains of Malaga or touring on the back roads of Andalucia.
The famous Nerja caves are a must see. The most popular Burriana beach is to the east of Nerja (be early in the summer as parking is at a premium). There are plenty of other beaches all within 5-10 minutes drive.

The Frigiliana / San Rafael area

Balcon de europa in the center of Nerja town is great for people watching and is where the main fiestas take place.
The small cobbled streets are extremely picturesque with some lovley tapas bars and numerous other restaurants and small shops.
The beautifull village of Frigiliana is 5 minutes drive and for the most part it retains it's sleepy Spanish feel.
There is a regular bus schedule to Nerja and Frigiliana.
A taxi to Nerja is €10 and €8 to Frigiliana

Beautiful apartment within a large Villa, situated on the road between Nerja and Frigiliana. 5 minute drive to the nearby beaches.
Malaga airport is only 45 minutes by car and is served by all the major airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Flybe, BMI, aer lingus and many more.
Car hire can be found easly at the airport I would recomend www.amigoautos.co.uk or www.carjet.co.uk
The villa is ideal for holidays and get togethers. With self-catering facilities it is ideal for all holidays giving the choice of freedom !!

“A little bit of paradise” Absolutely first class, we have stayed in many apartments and villa and this was far the best. Tranquil and so private with beautiful views, everything was a high standard indoors and out. Our visit was in January so was unable to enjoy the pool, but we spent much of our lunches and siestas on the beautiful patio. Will definately return. “Excellent apartment” We have returned from a wonderful week at Casa Isla Bonita and what a lovely quality apartment, very tastefully furnished, the pool and gardens were just beautiful must admit we relaxed immediately and had a very enjoyable stay. “pure class perfect” We loved everything about our holiday perfect weather, a short drive from malaga,and when we arrived at Casa Alice WOW it took our breaths away it was stunning beautiful large apartment with every thing you could wish for very stylish,and outside its so pictureess beatuiful scenery and the pool is the icing on the cake, it by far exceeded our expections,we have never stayed anywhere as impressive as Casa Alice and cant recommend it enough, already looking when we can get back there again.The town is a few minuites drive or about 15 minuite walk away, large supermarkets even closer,there is a lovley beach close by all in all the best holiday ever so gald we found it.Perfect location. “Excellent from booking to return” After doing our normal research re holidays - where, when and why - which included looking at the other reviews on this site - we decided on Casa Isla Bonita and am so glad we did. This was our first villa holiday - we are fairly well travelled but this time we needed the flexibilty and independance. We had our daughter, partner and 6 month grandson joining us for a week of our two week holiday. We wanted to relax in privacy in true comfort and thats what we did! Adam who we booked in through was extremely helpful with all our requirements, flight changes and even getting the tv working when we arrived - our fault I hasten to add re the tv set up! The place is beautiful, well maintained and everything the other reviews say....do not hesitate to book if this is the resort , ambiance and holiday you are after Response: Thanks for taking time to write an excellent review for me. looking forward to hearing from you again soon. The apartment was excellent & we are already looking to book a return visit. Once we had stocked up on supplies we could think of no good reason to leave. The outside furniture was not only extensive but very comfortable so we laid-back by the pool taking in the wonderful hillside view that leads down to the sea. That's how to relax.Thanks Adam. “Wow!!” We stayed for a week in October at Isla Bonita. The place is absolutely stunning, perfect setting, peaceful and top quality accomodation. Location is perfect for visiting Frigiliana which is an idyllic town with great restaurants and amazing views. I wouldn't say there is anything that you would not like about this property. “Fantastic Villa” Casa Isla Bonita is located minutes away from both the beautiful hillside village of Frigiliana and the resort town of Nerja. The apartment of this newly built villa is absolutely superb. The apartment is tastefully designed, light and airy, and equipped with a range of modern appliances (including a 42" flat screen TV with a Blu-ray player and satellite receiver). The pool is simply the best I have used to date. This gorgeously designed self-maintaing pool is set in beautifully landscaped gardens - a credit to the owners and designers. The villa is very secure, enclosed within its own grounds by high walls, and accessed through electronic gates. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone - a great place to spend your holiday.

“Luxurious villa, amazing pool and gardens - 5 Star” My husband and I stayed at Casa Isla Bonita for 5 nights in April/May 2011 as we looked for a relaxing break in order to study for exams. We had a brilliant time, the house and grounds are so relaxing with amazing views out to the sea. The apartment is under the main house so it does not look out onto the pool area but it is beautiful inside, very spacious and newly decorated in the modern style of the entire house. It is certainly not a typical holiday/apartment let - the kitchen has more utensils than mine at home and the dishwasher is great to have. In our opinion, the best part of the villa is the pool and gardens with a direct view out to the ocean. The pool is long enough to do laps or just laze in. The garden furniture is great, the loungers were so comfortable with the luxurious cushions with pillows. The dining table outside is beautiful for al fresco dining and we made use of the BBQ on a couple of nights. In terms of location, the villa is not completely secluded however it is on a lovely private road and the aspect of the villa next door means you are not overlooked. Taxis were able to pick us up with 10 minute notice most evenings and the villa is almost equidistant from Frigiliana (we'd recommend the Restaurant Mirador for sundown) and Nerja (Calabaza for the lovely food and Tutti Frutti Square for the bars). Lidl is also a few minutes drive and a great place to get the essentials in for the stay at low low prices. Adam was very accomodating throughout the process and answered all our initial questions well prior to booking. We received our full deposit back within a week of returning home.
