About the home

This luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex apartment is one of 4 in a row that overlooks the botanical gardens. It is furnished to a very high standard to cater for all your needs, including a 32” T.V., Sat. T.V., DVD player , Music Centre and Ceiling Fans. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a separate lounge/diner and a terrace overlooking the Botanical Gardens and is also close to the sports centre and Frigiliana old town. There is a communal swimming pool on the complex which has its own changing facilities.

It is only 7km to the beaches of the coastal town of Nerja and is in the foothills of the Almajara Sierra Mountains for the more energetic holiday makers who like walking. There are three golf courses within a 30 minute drive.

Conditions

Bookings from persons under the age of 18 cannot be accepted.
If you have to cancel, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY. Your cancellation is effective from the date we receive your notification, receipt of which will be acknowledged by us.

If you cancel 8 weeks or more before your rental start date you will only forfeit your deposit. If you cancel less than 8 weeks before your rental start date you will forfeit the full cost of the rental.
You are responsible for any damage or loss sustained to your accommodation during your stay up to the full value of your damage and security deposit.

We have the right to refuse to hand over keys to your accommodation to any person who, in our reasonable opinion, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases, the cost of your rental less your deposit will be refunded and we will have no further liability.

We also have the right to repossess the accommodation at any time, if in our reasonable opinion, you or any member of your party is unsuitable to remain in charge because of their age, ill health, suspected or actual influence of alcohol or drugs or because of irresponsible, noisy and disruptive behaviour likely to cause danger or annoyance to themselves, other persons or property. In this case we will have no further responsibility or liability and no refunds, costs or expenses will be met.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol coast line has something for everyone’s taste whether you are looking for a quiet restful resort to a livelier resort. Rest assured the Costa del Sol will have somewhere that meets your requirements.

It has a fantastic coast line that is framed by the warm blue Mediterranean Sea with temperatures that vary between a low 13 ºC in the winter months and can rise up to a sweltering 40 ºC in the peak months of July and August.

There are mountains and villages to explore, the Nerja caves, Golf courses galore, walking holidays, horse riding, diving, water sports, tennis, water parks, boat trips or just plain shopping, you name it the Costa has it.
If you are lucky enough to be around the time of any of the Spanish fiestas then you are in for a treat, as the Spanish know how to party and keep up the old traditions.

There really is something for everyone in this area.

The Frigiliana area

Situated approximately 7km north of Nerja, on the eastern Costa del Sol is the Pueblo Blanco (White Village) of Frigiliana. It is set at a height of about 1000 metres in the foothills of the Sierra Almajara mountain range.

As you wind your way through the narrow streets of Frigiliana you will find lots of tiny shops where you can buy local handicrafts including basket ware, linen, lace, ceramic ware and the local Frigiliana wine. Alternatively, you can take to the hills and hike through the national park taking in the splendid view from on high.

In the centre of the old town lies the church of San Antonio where lots of couple are now choosing to hold their wedding ceremony, after which Frigiliana and its surroundings offer some spectacular photo opportunities.

When you come out of the airport you will come to a roundabout where you need to go straight on.

You will see the San Miguel brewery on your right hand side and you will need to keep in the left hand lane.

Stay in this lane and the road will go all the way round to the right and you will join up with the main carriageway. You will need to move over at least one lane to the left otherwise you will end up going down a slip road. If you need to put petrol in your car stay in the slip road and you will come to a garage. Once you come out of the garage you can then rejoin the main carriageway again.

You should see Makro and Toys R Us on your left hand side and should now look out for the road signs going in the direction of Almeria and Motril.

Follow these signs and you will join the main motorway that runs through Malaga that will eventually bring you to Frigiliana.

You will need to stay on this motorway until you come to Exit 292 to Frigiliana & Nerja.

(Please note that the exits are not numbered consecutively but by the number of kilometres that each exit is from a certain point on the motorway.)

Take this exit and at the top of the slip road turn left heading towards Frigiliana. You should follow this road for about three kilometres where you will come to a roundabout. Take the third exit and continue (approx.1 km) until you come to another roundabout.

Turn left here and drive until you come to four little speed humps. You should be now looking to park as your apartment is up the stairs on the right hand side of the speed humps. There are another set of stairs just to the left of the shop called “Fontaneria Frigiliana” and these will also lead up to the apartment.

If you use the stairs by the speed humps go up and look out for No.10 on the wall on your left. When you see it turn left and you are in one of these 4 apartments marked A,B,C and D

If you use the stairs to the left of the shop you can just go all the way to the top where you will need to turn left and you will have arrived at the apartments

A €100 (Eouros) non-refundable deposit is payable to secure the booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you fail to pay this amount in full by the agreed date we will treat your booking as cancelled by you, retain your deposit and re-let the property. Should the booking be made within 8 weeks of arrival the full amount must be paid to secure the booking.

A €200 (Euros) refundable deposit is also payable at the time of booking to be held against damages and breakages.

Payment can be made via Electronic Bank Transfer or by a Bankers Draft payable in Euros (€).

Credit/Debit cards accepted via PayPal.

Welcome Packs available on request at a cost of 25€.

Airport transfers available on request at an additional cost.

Beach Towels can be hired at a cost of 1€ per towel per day.
