The Pembrokeshire region
In 2010, Pembrokeshire was ranked the second best coastline in the World, beating places like the Seychelles & Bermuda! With 50 blue flag beaches. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path was rated as the third best walking trail in the world by another online travel adviser, Cheapflights. It even beat Mount Kilimanjaro and the Inca Trail. Visit Britain also recognised how special the Pembrokeshire Coast is by rating it the 4th best Coastal Place in Britain behind The White Cliffs of Dover, The Jurassic Coast and Brighton. They were impressed by the spectacular scenery, diverse wildlife, internationally important nature reserves and the geology. There are many things to see and do in the area including walking, cycling, surfing, fishing & horse riding, a whole plethora of adventure sports, golf, birdwatching, theme parks, in short something for all ages.
Pembrokeshire has many activites; Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby and St David's Cathedral are all within reach. The area is steeped in history with many beautifully preserved castles.
