Freshwater / Totland area
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the west of the Isle of Wight, the village of Totland offers visitors local shops, pubs and spectacular, unspoiled coastal scenery. The award-winning beaches of both Totland and Colwell Bay provide a wide range of activities, whilst Freshwater boasts a golf course and public swimming, both of which are situated along the Tennyson Trail. It is possible to take a chair lift from Alum Bay and enjoy some of the wonderful views across the sand cliffs, the famous 'Needles' chalk stacks and lighthouse beyond. The ancient castle, busy harbour and narrow streets at Yarmouth are also well worth exploring.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The cleanliness and general decor was superb. Having rented many holiday homes, this property was particularly well furnished and equipped. It was like being at home rather than feeling that you're missing home comforts! The information book on the house was excellent and very helpful. The lawn was astonishingly well manicured - would put most gardeners to shame. This is a great place to spend a relaxing time on the island, and the walk down to Totland and Colwell Bays is well worth it - as they're so close and only a 10 minute walk away.
