Quiet, friendly neighbourhood, close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. We work from home and have 3 children aged 11, 13 and 14. We are travelers ourselves and enjoy sharing our home.
Wonderful friendly hosts and a bright clean place!
We stayed for 4 weeks and the hosts were super friendly. Our kids had loads of fun playing with the children of the house owner. The place was very clean and bright. The views from Beacon Hill down to the sea are splendid too.

Amazing place and the friendliest owners :)I really enjoy the week I spend with Victor and Toni... they really know how to be great hosts. The room is pretty tidy, spacious and has an amazing view from the entire Northern Beaches.

Highly Recommended! Suited our need perfectly!!Owners of this lovely renovated downstairs flat made us feel very welcome and at home. Very clean and spacious with large family room and separate bedroom, it suited our needs perfectly. Great location, close to Warringah Shopping Mall, Manly and Northern Beaches. Boasting lovely views towards the coast to enjoy a great start to the day with breakfast outside or enjoy a peaceful relaxing evening. Quite side street and no traffic noise is a bonus with street parking available.

Our stay with Victor & Toni was splendid. Their approach is to welcome their guests as dear friends and have that relaxed No-Worries mentality. During the booking and our approach to Sydney, Victor & Toni proved to be helpful, thoughtful and during our stay we even felt part of their family.

We viewed the Sydney fireworks from the best spot possible, we surfed and relaxed at one of the less crowded beaches, we quickly learned how to use the public transport system, and found Beacon Hill to be quite central to all Sydney has to offer.

The apartment itself has a beautiful view of the beaches at Curl Curl and Dee Why. Waking up with this view from your bed is priceless. There is an adequate kitchen. Although we only used it for brecky, the kitchen is equipped to make yourself an easy dinner. An asset of the apartment is the adjacent laundry. We did not bring enough clothes, so we used it to wash some. The pictures do not express the spaciousness of the apartment. It covers the whole width of their home and has a nice terrace overlooking the garden and the same beaches as decribed above. We stayed for just one week, but on our return we will book for at least 2 weeks.

Thoroughly recommend and would stay again. Lovely!! Good Option for the Northern Beaches. Had a great stay with the family over Christmas. Toni and Victor are great hosts. Next time we are in Sydney, this is where we will be staying for sure.

What a "gem" of a place!Toni & Victor were great hosts and have a very nice place! Brilliant views of the ocean, with the sun shining on it, nice garden and nature area with the birds song to wake you up in the morning, and a lovely furnished flat with everything in it! Plus, Toni&Victor are great hosts, very nice and that can help you with lots of things! A great place, close to everything, with buses or by car. Looking something near Manly? Go!

We had a great stay and found the property to be excellent. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well appointed with books, DVD's, games and toys for our children. The property has great views and is filled with light and has a lovely feel. Victor and Toni (hosts/owners) made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

"Sydney Surburbs...........at its most very pleasant"
What a "gem" of a place here! Toni & Victor - a well-travelled couple themselves - have a lovely, spacious, welcoming comfortable home, whom they share with guests. I had the self-contained ground-floor flat (with fridge already stocked with my favourite foods for breakfast). This is a family home: "airy", & spacious - without any intrusion - and with an interesting, adventure back-garden. Instructions for everything - from the bus & ferry times to interesting local & national walks - are well documented. Books (some in Dutch) abound ....so the travelling guest can always be occupied with something, if they did not bring their own...( ..or even if they did).
When was the last time "Happy Birthday" was sung to you? This was a lovely touch, together with coffee and a chance to say "hello/goodbye".
I almost forgot: after travelling for 24-hrs one welcomes a comfortable bed!...I appreciated that. In fact, there was nothing Toni forgot! - even a "communications" notice message board..in the utility room.
If you don't mind reading time-tables and planning your journey (1-hr into the City, or 1/2-hr into Manly ...then another 1/2-hr by ferry into the City) - I slept, read or just observed - do try here: you do get a greater sense of a country/its citizens by staying in the suburbs.
What attracted me to this location was the caption " we like meeting people, and we would like to share our home": indeed they do - a very pleasant family that made my stay (6 nights in this part of Sydney) a very enjoyable experience.
