The Western Australia / Perth Metro Area
Great year-round climate, though cooler in the winter months from June to September, with some showers. The historic town of Fremantle caters extremely well for tourists whilst still retaining a small town atmosphere. Frequent festivals in the town centre play host to international street performers, buskers and musicians.
Beautiful beaches at Fremantle, South Beach and Cottesloe maintain a real family feel. Short drive to the Swan Valley wine region and good public transport and road links to Perth city. Beautiful, unique Rottnest Island is also just on the doorstep, a 30 minute ferry ride from Fremantle.
