This gîte has a newly equipped kitchen which includes cooker, hob, 'fridge/freezer & coffee machine. A washing machine is available in the pool-house room. A dining table and chairs are provided. The living room gives you a comfortable seating area with use of TV/DVD player and CD music station and leads directly to your own terrace with table and chairs. Sun-loungers are also available on the pool terrace. There is an en-suite shower room with sink and toilet. What's provided: All Bedding, Bathroom and Pool Towels, Water and Electricity. Weekly linen change and clean and end of rental clean.

The Départment of "Lot" (46) is a place rich in many things. Valleys. rivers, caves, forests,bastides, chateaux's and vineyards among many things. Whether it's cycling, walking, canoeing, birdwatching or wine tasting or simply relaxing amidst the peace and quiet of the forests then the Lot has something for everyone. It even has river and lake side beaches in the summer!. A fabulous climate helps add to the pleasures of any vacation in Southwest France. Warm, sunny day after day from June to September; cold crisp winters great for rambling through the forests or a leisurely 9 holes at the local golf course.

The Frayssinet Le Gelat area

Frayssinet Le Gelat sits very conveniently on the crossroads of the D673 and the D660 being two main cross country routes. The D660 leads up to Bergerac and the airport there and also down to Cahors where you can get the train straight to Paris or Barcelona.. The D673 heading east takes you to one of the main north-south motorways (toll) less than 1 hours drive.

The village has 2 bars, a pizza restaurant, a lake side bar and restaurant serving steak or moules et frites in the summer, a superb boulangerie, a mini supermarket which doubles as a local post office and a library.
