Casal dei Fichi has six luxurious apartments each with it's own private garden. The 15m heated pool is boarded by a large decked area equipped with sun loungers and shades, here.you can sip a cocktail, relax in the sun or simply soak up the inspirational views of hilltop towns, rolling country and the Sibline mountains.
In addition to a private garden for each apartment there are extensive landscaped gardens where you can find sun, shade or tranquillity under the pergola or in a hammock among the fig, olive and walnut trees.
Help yourself to our seasonal produce of vegetables, pick from the herb garden or find fruit in the orchard. The original brick bread oven is ideal for our weekly summer pizza evenings and there are several barbecue areas.

The Marche / Abruzzo / Marche region
Marche is on the Adriatic coast in central Italy, boarded by the regions of Umbria, Tuscany, Emilia Romana and Abruzzo. It is often described as 'all of Italy in one region' as it has a real diversity of terrain, coastline, towns and attractions. We describe it as 'the real Italy'.
We are in the middle of Marche, one hours drive from Ancona airport and in an area of rolling hills and tranquil valleys. Each hill is topped by a medieval town waiting to be explored and with a small family restaurant where you can while away a long lunch or evening meal with a glass or two of the local wines
Each November you can take a fully inclusive 4 day break designed to give you a fascinating introduction to the autumn highlights of Le Marche. With the backdrop of the olive harvest you will gain an insight into the cultivation and production of the finest olive oils whilst enjoying delicious regional dishes at a carefully selected range of restaurants.
The weekend includes an afternoon at an award winning vineyard where you will be introduced to top Marchigiani wines and learn about their production. You will spend a morning cooking with top academy chef Guida Stacchietti and eat your gourmet lunch at the eclectic Il Maniero art club. Francavilla d'Ete area
Marche is full of fascinating towns and cities where you can explore the narrow streets, visit a local market, check out a museum or gallery or simply sit outside a street cafe and watch the world go by. The cities of Fermo, Ascoli Piceno and Urbino are all within a short drive. Macerta which is 30 minutes away hosts the annual summer open air opera and in each town or village there is always a programme of live entertainment and festivals all through the long season.
Nearby to Casal dei Fichi are the fascinating Roman ruins of Urba Salvia and the Abbey where you can take lunch and explore the grounds.
The Sibillini National park is only 40 minutes by car where you can enjoy skiing in the winter and walking throughout the year as well as ballooning, horse riding and climbing.
The well-known Grotte di Frasassi (Frasassi caves) are one of the largest caves systems in Europe. The caves offer an underground world of lakes, beautiful transparent alabaster formations, vaulted caverns and stalactites suspended like daggers. Guided tours are available throughout the year.
How to get there
We are an easy one hour drive from Ancona airport (Ryanair from Stansted), 90 minutes from Pescara and Rimini (Ryanair from Stansted, Bristol and East Midlands) and 3-4 hours from Bologna and Rome.
Car hire is available from various companies at these airports.
We can also organise collection from local railway stations e.g. Civitanova on the main east coast line.

Further details indoors: The large and spacious holiday apartments are furnished to a very high standard each with it's own individual character and features. The lounge has 2 comfortable sofas (one can be converted into a full sized double bed), TV, DVD and stereo.
The modern kitchens with oak cabinets and granite work surfaces are equipped with full oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker and all the cooking utensils you expect to find at home. The bedrooms have queen size beds and the bathrooms have large luxury showers. The apartments are cleaned weekly with fresh bedlinen, towels and pool towels provided.
The thick brick walls provide excellent insulation and each double glazed window is equipped with fly screens and external shutters which make the apartment cool and airy in the hot summer months. There is also full central heating throughout and a traditional brick built fireplace in 4 of the apartments.
The apartments are non smoking. Private parking is provided. There is free access to a laundry room.

We have six apartments to rent, most of the apartments are priced as shown. The availability chart relects all the apartments and not just one. If availability is shown then at least one apartment is still available for rent. Please contact us for full details and specifications.
A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking and the balance of the payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Changeover is generally Saturday to Saturday. However we will happily accept mid week bookings and shorter stays subject to availability.
Apartments are available from 4.00 pm on the date of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. If you require an earlier check in or a later check out, please let us know and we will always try to accommodate you.
Conditions
We appreciate that it is often more convenient and cheaper to travel mid week. We will happily accommodate you for a non Saturday arrival and departure, though there may be a supplement of £50 per booking depending on the time of year.

Me and my partner visited casal dei fichi in April for a few days with the view to booking it for our wedding venue, which we have since done. We loved it the minute we saw it, the views are breathtaking and the accommodation and decor are immaculate, there is even a plug next to the mirror ladies!! Ian and Bob are fantastic hosts and they go out of their way to ensure that you have a great holiday. We have been renting quality holiday apartments for 30 years and Casal dei Fichi is the best yet. As you turn off the road to drive down to the house, the views of rolling countryside are stunning.
