About the home
Set in the historic market town of Framlingham in Suffolk, The Cottage is a tastefully decorated Grade II listed holiday cottage dating from the 15th Century.

Further details indoors:
The Cottage has been beautifully decorated, highlighting the period nature of the property whilst ensuring the highest levels of comfort for guests.
There are electric heaters/storage heaters in all rooms as well as the wood-buring stove. During the winter months, the wood-burning stove will need to be lit to heat the sitting and dining areas.
Further details outdoors:
The Cottage has its own private courtyard which proves to be an amazing sun-trap. A barbecue and patio table, chairs & umbrella are also available for guests to use.
Further details
Rental is for the entire cottage and includes all bed linen, towels, free wi-fi broadband (subject to a fair-usage limit), tea towels and tablecloth.
Essentials such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, washing up liquid, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets are also provided.
The only additional charge is for electricity on a "pay-as-you-go" key. At least £5 will be pre-loaded for your arrival, and this can be very easily topped up at the local supermarket (less than 1 minute away). Electricity is charged at the same rate as a standard domestic supply. During winter lets, you will need to buy extra logs for the wood-burning stove.
It should be noted that during very cold weather, the only room that can prove difficult to heat is the kitchen.
Conditions
As The Cottage dates from 1465, some doorways are low and the stairs quite narrow. Therefore the property may not be suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs. The kitchen has an induction hob; and the manufacturer advises that it is not to be used by people with pacemakers.
An "access statement" which fully describes room layouts, as well as terms and conditions of booking, are available on request.
