The cottage is situated in the midst of rural Suffolk 2 miles from the historic market town of Framlingham with its large imposing castle nestled on the edge of this charming unspoilt town which can be easily walked to from the cottage ,with individual shops ,tea shops and pubs all waiting to be explored. Once in the car the east coast is within 10 miles with forest, heathland and beech walks also lovely coastal towns to explore.
Southwold boasts a fun pier and the Adnams brewery making it a must see and the more traditional seaside village of Walbeswick only a hop over the river in the small row boat ferry.
There is a farm park in Easton and a small riding stable within walking distance of the cottage, and Kessingland wildlife centre is a great attraction especially for the younger visitor .
