A 3 bedroom ground floor apartment located just a 10-15 minute walk away from the beach and the centre of Fowey with its many fabulous restaurants. The apartment is located in a Georgian Country house with its own private courtyard garden and barbecue area, plus communal landscaped gardens and a covered heated pool.
It is situated in a beautiful location in Cornwall and close to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan and popular coastal towns such as Carlyon Bay, Charlestown and Mevagissey, making it the perfect holiday home to explore Cornwall.
Fowey holds many events throughout the year including the popular Fowey Royal Regatta and the Daphne du Maurier literary festival. The dramatic views of the South Cornwall coast and countryside can be enjoyed from the many National Trust coastal walks that are close by.

Fowey area
The best way to enjoy your visit to Fowey is strolling on the esplanade, relaxing on Fowey's Town Quay or taking a river cruise or boat trip. For historic houses in Fowey, head to Fore Street: Here you'll find some medieval merchants' houses known as “The Old House of Foye” and “Noah's Ark”. Other attractions in Fowey include the Daphne du Maurier Literary Centre, St. Fimbarrus' Church and the Fowey Museum. Just outside Fowey, St. Catherine's Castle enjoys a picturesque location overlooking the water, and is accessible via a footpath from the beautiful horseshoe bay of Readymoney Cove.
Fowey lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides excellent country for walking and the pursuit of other outdoor activities. A rugged coastline, tranquil creeks and waterside villages all contribute to making exploring this part of the heritage coast a delight. You can take a short walk between the Fowey Esplanade and Readymoney Cove (¾ mile) or a longer walk to Gribbin's Head. The scenery between Readymoney Cove and Gribbin's Head is simply outstanding. At Gribbin Head, you'll also see the 84 foot daymark which was erected by mariners in 1832. From here you can continue on the Southwest Coast Path which heads to Polkerris and around St Austell Bay.
If you want to venture a little further afield, then why not take advantage of Fowey’s public transport connections? First Buses operate a regular daily service between Fowey and St Austell: Service number 25. St Austell Bus Station has connecting buses operating to other locations in Cornwall, including to attractions such as The Eden Project. The Fowey to Polruan Passenger and Cycle Ferry is a summer service and runs 1st May - 30th September from Whitehouse Slip. Fowey to Mevagissey Passenger Ferry is a timetabled summer service between Fowey and Mevagissey leaving Whitehouse Slip. Journey time is around 40 minutes, please see leaflet or notice board for sailings. This can be used as an alternative route to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, finishing the journey by foot.

The West Country is serviced by four regional airports, which are accessible from all over the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond. Car hire and public transport links are readily available from all four airports. NEWQUAY has the nearest airport to this property. BRISTOL has the South West's largest Airport with car hire facilities and excellent onward transport links.
