Come and enjoy Fowey River Views, a fantastic holiday home in the picturesque ancient town and port of Fowey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fowey River Views, originally part of a Victorian villa, is now a beautifully decorated, light and airy waterside apartment (sleeps 4). Right on the waters edge, you can enjoy glorious views across the river to the village of Bodinnick, and Daphne Du Maurier’s old home Ferryside. The Juliet balcony offers the perfect spot to relax and watch the various activities and wildlife on the river.

Whether you enjoy coastal walks or exploring the shops and restaurants of Fowey, River Views is an ideal destination and a comfortable retreat all year round. 100% cotton bed linen and towels are provided; please note that for guest comfort, Fowey River views is non smoking. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets.

Lounger: With fantastic views of the river, (from the french doors and Juliet Balcony), and Bodinnick village this is the ideal location to wind down and relax. There is a sofa and chairs, television, DVD player and CD Player/Radio.

Kitchen/Dining :Dining table with views looking down the river you may spend more time in the kitchen than you thought! Equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster and many utensils.

Master bedroom:A refuge from a busy day lazing on the river or browsing the shops. Relax with a book on the double bed, or prepare for a night out in one of the many fine restaurants and pubs in Fowey.

Twin bedroom:A spacious room with two full sized single beds, ideal for adults or children (over 5)

Bathroom:A family bathroom with an electric shower over bath.

Fowey, a picturesque ancient town and port, welcomes visitors and has lots to offer - riverside cafes and restaurants serving delicious food, characterful pubs, galleries displaying local art, delightful shops and sandy beaches are all within easy walking distance. Boat trips can be enjoyed on the river Fowey which is home to many birdlife, seals and even dolphins. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed right from the door along the glorious National Trust coastlines and close by are The Eden Project, fabulous National Trust houses such as Lanhydrock and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Fowey River Views is on the waters edge, just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Fowey, ideally placed away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sarah (the owner) a message.

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
