A small front terrace area with a garden bench overlooks the street and river beyond, providing the perfect setting for your morning cup of tea or coffee.
The house is beautifully decorated throughout in soft creams and seaside blues. On the ground floor, the original Edwardian tiled hall leads to a light and airy living/dining room with large bay window facing riverward to the front and views up to the cliffside gardens at the back.
The kitchen has been completely refitted and is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher and a comprehensive range of kitchen utensils. Beyond the kitchen there is a small, white washed, barbeque area.
Stairs from the hall lead to the first floor and bedroom 2 with 5’ King sized bed. This room has gorgeous views of the river Fowey from the large bay window and is equipped with a washbasin.
There is a separate family shower room with WC and basin.
Bedroom 3 is a small double bedroom with pretty views up the hillside to the gardens beyond.
The master bedroom is situated on the second floor, is self contained and is reached by a flight of stairs. Here there is a 6’ Super King sized bed and a light and airy en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The bedroom ceiling opens up into the rafters and two dormer windows overlook the river and beyond towards Bodinick. The views from this room are quietly spectacular.

The West Country region
Fowey (pronounced Foy) nestles on the banks of the river Fowey between Mevagissey and Looe, around 40 miles from Plymouth. It has a population of around 2,000 and lies in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are plenty of stylish home and clothes boutiques in Fowey, all within walking distance of Treleigh House. If you are a foodie you will be pleased to know that there are some exceptional restaurants too, which include The Old Quay House, voted Small Hotel of the Year 2008 and The Other Place (one of Rick Stein’s top five in Cornwall). The town also has a number of wonderful cafes and tea shops. If it is pure chill you are after, why not simply spend the day on the beach, followed by a relaxing drink in one of the many traditional Cornish pubs. Whatever you choose, one thing is for certain, once you arrive, you can park your car and forget about it. Everything you need really is on your doorstep.
