Completely refurbished stylish apartment in a quiet, tree-lined street in central Edinburgh next to the Union Canal where you can stroll on your way towards many major attractions or watch the barges as you enjoy some al fresco refreshment. Our king-sized bed (which is of a quality used by hotels & guest houses) can be split into two twins to provide flexible accommodation & our double futon in the living room is as comfortable as any good quality bed. The kitchen, which is open-plan to the living room (so you don't miss out on socialising whilst cooking) is equipped with everything you'll need for home from home comfort, including a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar & shortbread and store cupboard essentials such as cooking oil and herbs & spices. If you don't fancy cooking, there is a wide variety of great restaurants to choose from on your doorstep as well as a cinema complex just 500 meters away which also offers bowling, a casino and children's soft play. There is a local supermarket right on the corner of the street. Whether you're a couple on a romantic getaway looking for comfort & relaxation or friends or family looking for great value accommodation, Canal Side Apartment is in a great location for getting the best from a stay in Edinburgh.

"comfortable apartment in the right place"

Situated in an up and coming area,this apartment is close to the city centre without being in the middle of that lovely but frenetic/noisy area. The apartment is well appointed,clean and has plenty o… More

Thank you for taking the time to review Canal Side Apartment. Thankfully the building work opposite has now been completed; we now have a local supermarket on the corner and the street is much more open with plenty of parking available. We've also upgraded the bathroom since your stay with a new, walk-in shower. I hope to see you back in Edinburgh soon.
