Glen Mor, is in the Raven Wing of the Highland Club, Fort Augustus. The bedroom sleeps 2 people on king size double bed. There is an option to sleep extra 2 people on fold down double sofa bed in lounge. Guests have full use of all Highland Club pool, sauna, gym, tennis court & other shared leisure facilities. Wifi available in the apartment.

Accommodation comprises an open plan living room with kitchen and separate bedroom. The flat is second floor accessed by stairs so unsuitable for wheelchairs. Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: with carpeted lounge area and a kitchen/dining area with solid oak floor with full height patio doors opening to a Juliet balcony with a great view of the Glen Mor hills above. Seating is 3 seater sofa and leather bucket chair. 32” LCD TV & DVD. Kitchen: fully equipped, with 4 ring gas hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Dualit kettle and toaster, solid oak dining table + 4 chairs. Bathroom: has a bath, with overhead shower, wash hand basin and heated towel radiator. The flat is 490 Sq.ft. with gas central heating, pressurised hot water system & double glazing.
Close to all local amenities, 500m to canal, locks, restaurants & hotels. On site restaurant called The Boathouse with views to the North up Loch Ness.
Situated in 20 acres of grounds which includes both Loch Ness and Caledonian Canal frontage. Excellent shared facilities provided by Highland Club, including outdoor barbecue & picnic areas on the loch shore. Outdoor tennis court, children's play area and cricket pitch which is used by local team during cricket season.
Ideal touring centre, with many of Scotland's most beautiful attractions within one hour drive including Eilan Donan Castle, Isle of Skye, Uruqhart Castle, Cairngorm National Park, Ben Nevis, Aonach Mor ski & mountain bike area.
Alternatively, as the property is within easy walking distance of the village, no car is needed whilst staying. There is an extensive local path network including the Great Glen Way to be explored, or just wander down to have a drink by the canal while watching the boats negotiating the series of locks which form the centre point of the village.
On arrival you shall normally be greeted by our management company representative and be shown the apartment. You will also receive a complimentary bottle of wine, shortbread, pint of milk and enough tea & coffee for your first night.

The Loch Ness region
Located in the heart of the Highlands, Fort Augustus is a great touring centre, with many of Scotland's most beautiful attractions within one hour drive including Eilan Donan Castle, Isle of Skye, Urquhart Castle, Cairngorm National Park, Ben Nevis, Aonach Mor ski & mountain bike area.
Fort Augustus is on the Caledonian Canal. a series of 5 locks pass through the centre of town and there is nothing better than to relax at one of the local pubs with a drink by the canal watching the boats large & small negotiate the series of locks.
Take a cruise on Loch Ness, perhaps you will see the monster, or you can catch a boat to spectacular Urquhart Castle sited further up Loch Ness.
Fort Augustus has an extensive local path network and is also on the route of the Great Glen Way and Great Glen Cycleway.
