La Villette is one of three traditionally built houses on the edge of the village. Its dining terrace commands uninterrupted views of the Tramuntana mountain range and ancient olive terraces. The lower terrace overlooks a private pool with poolside shower and fridge.The house is beautifully decorated in a comfortable contemporary style with original art works and interesting design details. The layout is open plan on the top floor including a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. Downstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, two with double king sized beds and the third with twin beds. Every room in the house opens out onto a balcony or terrace. There are two luxury bathrooms with bath/shower and bidet and a cloakroom on the upper floor The house has central heating and airconditioning.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Fornalutx is located in the Valley of the Oranges, close to Soller. Voted the prettiest village in Spain, it retains a sense of community with good shops including an excellent, well stocked grocery shop and a very good bakery, both of which are open all year round.
Fornalutx area
Fornalutx lives up to its reputation in a relaxed way. Its cafes and restaurants offer good, unpretentious food in friendly surroundings. It is a wonderful place to stay at any time of the year. The nearby Port of Soller, fast becoming a very exclusive holiday spot, is only ten minutes away by car and offers excellent restaurants and an impressive beach. Port of Soller is linked to Soller by a tram system brought from San Fransico and there are spectacular views of the coastline from the lighthouse. Fornalutx is also well located for visits to Cala Tuent, Sa Calobra or Deia. Fornalutx is an ideal destination for walkers or cyclists, offering picturesque scenery and a unique atmosphere.

Fly to Palma de Mallorca Airport. La Villette, Fornalutx is approximately a 40 minute drive from the airport. Reasonable flights and car hire available from Easyjet.co.uk, jet2.com or bmi baby There are flights to Palma from most major airports in Europe

Further details outdoors: The garden has its own swimming pool and poolside seating area as well as a private terrace to the side of the house and two large balconies suitable for outside dining. The village tennis court is across the road from the house.
