Located on the outskirts of Formentera del Segura,with plenty of bars and restaurants located in this typical spanish village. Benimar is quite close where you will also find a variety of bars and restaurants,Chinese, Indian, Italian, Steakhouse. Rojales is also within walking distance it has supermarkets, shops and bars, and every Thursday they have the local market. Quesada is 10 mins drive where you can find the water park. Guardamar is also a 10 minutes drive with a fantastic blue flag beach. The beach front has a variety of restaurants to choose from. For those golfers amongst you there are at least 5 courses in the vicinity , one within a 5 minute drive.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca corresponds to the coastline of the Province of Alicante, which itself is part of the region of the Community of Valencia. With its ragged mountainous interior and miles of glorious sandy beaches and subtropical vegetation this is one of the most attractive and popular regions of Spain for visitors.

The city of Alicante is a great starting point from which to explore the many highlights which the Costa Blanca has to offer. There are theme parks, safari parks, nature reserves, enchanting villages, caves, waterfalls, lively markets and many exciting fiestas with fireworks and fancy dress; the golf courses are internationally-renowned and there's water sports galore.

Formentera del Segura area

Formentera del Segura is a small village close to Benijofar and Rojales in the region of the southern Costa Blanca, Spain, in the Alicante province. Formentera del Segura has a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops and a pleasant village square (plaza) where the Town Hall can be found along with the traditional fountain.

As with all Spanish villages Formentera del Segura has its share of fiestas and celebrations, however there is one unique to Formentera - “The Day of the Bicycle”, in which many of the villagers take part in a race to celebrate the past and present “brotherhood of the people of the village”. The Day of the Bicycle takes place in May. In Formentera del Segura May is known as “The Month of Flowers” and there are many celebrations including a grand procession in honour of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.

How to get there

Recommened Airports are Alicante or Murcia which can be accessed through cheap airlines including ryanair and easyjet. I f you prefer not to drive we can arrange for you to be collected from the airport -charges to be paid locally to the driver. If you choose to drive car hire is available at the airport.

The apartment was completed in October 2007, it is on the ground floor in a block of 24. It has a living/dining area with seating for 4 people, TV with english channels, dvd, and radio. The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and hob and microwave. There are 2 bedrooms 1 with en suite, 1 with a double bed the other with 2 single beds.

There is a spacious roof terrace with views of the countryside, mountains and orange groves. As well as the views, there is also a roof top pool to cool down in. There are 3 bars on site, 2 Spanish and the Liffy Irish Bar. A supermarket is also on site which sells everything you will need.

A welcome pack can be provided on arrival which is ideal for late arrivals - to be requested when booking and paid for locally.
The price does not include the price of cleaning the apartment and a small charge of 50 euro's must be paid either at the beginning or end of your stay.
Bedding is provided but we advise that you bring your own towels and beach towels.

Conditions

Deposit and payment £75 deposit per week is payable on booking the apartment, the remainder is due 8 weeks before the holiday date. £100 secuirty deposit is due when you pay the balance. Any damage or breakage must be declared and will be taken out of the secuirty deposit. Insurance cover for cancellation, illness and loss of belongings for the duration of your holdiay is highly recommended.
