Located in the beautiful, typical, quiet and authentic Spanish village of Formentera del Segura near the River Segura and overlooking the countryside with panoramic views for miles, surrounded with nature and orange groves. The apartment is on the first floor with balcony, roof solarium and communal swimming pool. There is a stunning sunset from the balcony in the evenings. Located approx mid-way between Alicante and Murcia airports, which are about 30 minutes drive from the village. The property is situated within walking distance of the local bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the picturesque village plaza.

The River Segura, which runs near the property, has a footpath, which follows the river to the fantastic beach resort of Guardamar with its fantastic blue flag status. It is one of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca. Guardamar, is a 10-minute drive from Formentera. It also has a beautiful pine forest and a huge natural park area with many scenic walks and a wide variety of flora and fauna. There are many beach side restaurants serving delicious fresh fish, salads and local wines.

. Nearby Rojales town has a larger selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Rojales is a quiet town during the day and the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. At weekends the town becomes very lively with a range of nightclubs opening until the early hours with mostly local friendly people who welcome everybody. About 5 – 10 minutes drive away there is a Water-Park with Crazy Golf. Also about 5 minutes drive from Formentera (20 minutes walk through the orange groves) is the beautiful village of Benijofar with an excellent selection of top class restaurants. Nearby is the urbanization of Benimar where you will find an even more varied selection of restaurants and bars i.e. Indian, Chinese, Tex Mex, Italian, etc.

Five Golf Courses are within a 25 min drive (the nearest being La Marquesa just a few minutes drive away’ with the Championship course of La Finca in Algoorfa about 10 minutes drive. The vibrant large town of Torrevieja is 14km. away. Torrevieja is a big tourist resort with large shopping areas, Marina, bars and restaurants serving local fare. The Habeneras Shopping Centre is on the outskirts of the town is on the Formentera side. The temperature on the Costa Blanca is very pleasant all year round. The relatively high iodine quality in the air makes the climate in this region the healthiest in Europe according to the World Health Organisation. As with all Spanish villages Formentera has it’s share of fiestas and celebrations throughout the year.
