About the home

Penthouse apartment is situated in the Spanish village of Formentera del Segura. This tranquil setting is situated right next to the Segura River which can be viewed from the balcony. Also over looking the colourful orange and lemon groves with the beautiful back drop of the mountains. Great for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine or what ever you fancy.

The apartment is in a peaceful and laid back location, with all amenties, bars, restaurants and shops close by. On the outskirts of Formentera is the neighbouring town of Rojales which has the biggest weekly market within the area. Formentera and all the local surrounding villages have a market ever week.

Apartment: A very well equipped and nicely furnished apartment with British satellite TV. Each room has hot and cold air conditioning. Great outdoor space with a very large balcony which comfortable fits table, chairs and two sun loungers.

We do not allow smoking inside the apartment, but smoking is allowed on the balcony.

A non-refundable booking deposit of £50 required upon booking. Payment in full six weeks before your visit. Alternatively you can pay the full sum on booking.

A key/security deposit of £50 will be required when the balance is paid. This will be refunded upon your return.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca has 170 miles of beautiful coastline and glorious sandy beaches. Santa Pola resort boasts 6 beaches, a marina and an working fishing port. With an average temperature of 20 degrees C and over 320 days of sunshine a year, this is an ideal all year round holiday location.

The region also has many attractions and numerous golf courses. Benidorm hosts Terra Mitica a fantastic Theme Park which is an hours drive away.

The Formentera del Segura area

Formentera is in the south of the Costa Blanca amongst the orange and lemon groves. Located a short distance from the blue flag beaches of Guardamar where you will find the great sand sculptures which must be seen. The village has several bakeries, butchers,supermarketsand small shops. The neighbouring towns and villages of Benijofar, Rojales and Benimar have many bars, cafes and restaurants with all types of food and drink to sample.

Just around the corner from the apartment is a municipal Swimming pool (open July & August) and several sports playing areas including football, basketball, squash and two children's playing areas. There is a walk way where you can stroll alongside the Segura river and into the neighbouring villages of Benimar and Benijofar.

Around 20 minutes away drive is the Rio Safari park in Elche which is a great family day out. They have several shows throughout the day which is included in the entrance price. Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive away with a fantastic commercial centre Habeneras where you will find everything from DIY to Zara and C&A for some retail therapy for all the family. There are several water parks in the surrounding area with the nearest being only 10 minutes drive away.

There are numerous golf courses within the area many only 10-15 minutes drive away. Rojales has it’s own 18 hole course, situated in Cuidad Quesada. The infamous La Finca Golf Club in Algorfa where they held the 2005 Spanish open. You can Pre-book Tee times and fees over the internet before your visit and make some great savings. Other golf courses include Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamar.

Murcia Aiport, Taxi - again request a fixed amount before your jourmey, will be slightly more as there are 2 tolls on the motorway around 3 - 4 euros (high season) each toll (depending on time of year).
