With over 300 days of sunshine a year make the most and enjoy a continental style breakfast on the front terrace, with views of the pool, well situated so that other holiday makers do not have full view of you !! The apartment is set in a private gated courtyard with access for residents only, which is great for young children. The pool area is surrounded by a balustrade and gated too. The private rooftop solarium offers views and is a terrific way to lie on the sunbeds provided and top up the tan or catch up with the latest novel.

We have a LARGE SCREEN TV and SATELLITE TV in the lounge and a choice of DVD's to make this a comfortable stay for any visitor. There is also a TV and DVD in the double bedroom. Although the apartment has full self catering facilities with the American style kitchen, there are many cuisines to suit varying tastes in the area from local dishes to Italian, Indian, Chinese and British. Don't forget the tapas !! The local supermarket is less than a minute walk and well equipped for stocking up on essentials.

Equipped with washing machine and clothes dryer makes this easier and more comfortable.
Although there are many bars and restaurants Rojales is not a busy resort. This area boasts some of the most authentic sites of Spain with beautiful walks through the orange and lemon groves or watersports at the beaches and marinas. Cycles can be hired locally to take advantage of the off road scenery. There are several waterparks in the area, with the nearest 10 minutes away.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Well located in the heart of Southern Costa Blanca, amongst orange and lemon groves Rojales is located a short distance away from glorious blue flag beaches, numerous golf courses and cultural attractions. An hours drive to Benidorm hosts Terra Mitica, a fantastic Theme Park with fabulous views of Benidorm. With annual average temperatures above 20 degrees C, the World Health Organisation recommends the climate of the Costa Blanca as one of the most equitable climates in the world. The Alicante region is a great place to unwind or adventure, depending on what you are looking for. The area has a wealth of history including castles, museums, palace, statues and churches. The Costa Blanca boasts 170 miles of coastline and glorious sandy beaches. Guardamar is renowned for its sandy dunes. Santa Pola resort has 6 beaches, a marina and operational fishing port. The whole area offers a host of activities to accommodate any visitor to the region, whatever they choose to do.

Formentera del Segura area

Rojales is a typical Spanish village where life rolls along at their own pace rather than the more commercial towns of Torrevieja and Benidorm. Although there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance, this is not a busy resort. We feel it is essential to have some form of transport to get around and hiring a car is probably the best way to see some of the most beautiful and authentic parts of Spain. Rojales is not commercialised and can be a perfect place to practice your Spanish. Rojales has its own market once a week. Great for bargains! The market visits nearby towns daily. In the hills overlooking Rojales visit the cave houses. Strange to think people actually live in them ! Also the house completely covered in shells. The square in Formentera is alive in the evening. Local families gather until the early hours. A mobile bar is on the square for you to enjoy a sip of cava and soak up the real Spanish culture. Guardamar is a short 8 minute drive away and has varying watersports for entertainment. For the less adventurous, a picnic in the pine forest leading to the beach is a must. There are several waterparks in the area, with the nearest being 10 minutes from the apartment. Torrevieja is 15 minutes away and has grown from a sleepy fishing town to an international tourist resort with its expanding marina and promenade. Clubs, bars and restaurants are open until the early hours. For those requiring some retail therapy visit Torrevieja's commercial centre, Habeneras. Visit the salt water lakes and lagoons, located less than 10 minutes away and stroll around at your leisure embracing the wildlife. A guide is at the Tourist Centre. Around 20 minutes drive is Rio Safari which is a fantastic family day out. Meet the elephant, giraffes, crocodiles and many other animals. Visit the fantastic Palm Park in Elche. The gardens have palm trees from all over the world. Surrounded by orange and lemon groves, hire a bike and even cycle leisurely around Rojales/Formentera embracing the views and scenery.
The Spanish love their festivals and fireworks ! You may be lucky enough to be there and enjoy one of there many displays !

How to get there

Fly to Alicante or Murcia Airports. Alicante is located a 25 minute drive and Murcia (San Javier) is located around 40 minute drive from the apartment.
Budget airlines such as Easyjet and BMI flights to Alicante, but Thomson, RyanAir and XL.com also companies to try. Also FlyBe, Monarch, JET2,
You could also ferry across from Southampton/Portsmouth to Bilbao and then drive across Spain.

There are many Hire car companies which allow you to collect the vehicle direct from the Airport. Carjet.co.uk ~ DoYouSpain for example, although Easyjet also hire vehicles.

Further details indoors:
The apartment comes fully equipped with everything required for a full self catering holiday including fridge freezer, iron and board and even a washing machine. All clean bedding is included in the rental price. The lounge area has Satellite TV, DVD and CD player and view of the front terrace through patio doors. Each room has ceiling fans for comfort. The double bedroom also has a TV and DVD player.

The apartment is set in a private gated courtyard with view of the pool from the front terrace and bedroom. Surrounded by the fragrance of the orange groves and a short walk to amenities. A children's park is located outside the gated area.

Further details

A REFUNDABLE damage deposit of £75 is required and can be added to the final balance. This will be refunded within a week after return when the property is inspected. We have never had any need to deduct for damage in the past.
50% deposit is required for booking confirmation. The full balance is required 10 weeks prior to DEPARTURE.

Conditions

We do not allow smoking in the apartment. Adult groups, couples and families with children are all welcome but we do not allow holiday lets to teenage groups.
An English speaking representative will meet you at the apartment and is on hand for questions and area information.
