"You HAVE to stay here"

From the moment I found this property Chris was brilliant, she answered all by questions and gave me the confidence that I had found "the property" for a break with my partner and our mothers. Honeysuckle cottage is everything that you expect from the advert and more. The homely touches make it more like a home from home than a hired weekend retreat.

Chris kept in contact up to our arrival and provided information about the area during our stay via email to keep us updated with local events she thought we would be interested in; but didn't physically contact us, however we knew she was there if needed for anything.

As we brought our little dog it was great to find a folder labelled "dog friendly" and the dog shower was gods send. We brought our own sofa covers but Chris offered hers as she appreciates people don't want a sofa with dog hair on! Chris really has gone above and beyond to make honeysuckle cottage dog friendly and has provided information on dog friendly activities and eateries.

The location of the cottage is lovely and out of the way without being in the middle of nowhere with sheep, goats, horses and other animals just out the window. The cottage has all the mod cons so you don't have to lift too much of a finger! The beds are the most comfortable I've experienced out of my own home and the quality of the fixtures and fittings are top notch.

We had a fantastic time and the log burner and under floor heating was well received due to the adverse weather conditions outside! I can imagine that honeysuckle cottage is even lovelier in the sunshine.

I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return.

Thank you for taking time to write such a wonderful review for us. Surely the two ladies weren't your mothers! We thought they were your friends. We're so happy that you enjoyed your time at Honetsuckle Cottage, and thank you so much for taking care of it for us. We have such lovely guests, we are so lucky! Thank you again, kind regards Chris and Les

"Outstanding accommodation in excellent location"

A great example of how holiday lettings should be done! The very friendly owners had sent us detailed travel information beforehand (including supermarket info en route), left a few essentials in the kitchen ready for us, and had compiled loads of tourist information split into dog friendly/non dog friendly files. The accommodation was faultless and immaculately presented, with both bedrooms being en suite. Even the dog had her own shower in the utility room! Loads to do within a half hour drive, although our favourite day was when we stayed in enjoying the patio views and went for a five minute walk to the Elton Mazes where all of us including the dog spent two hours exploring three mazes, returning to the cottage for a barbecue!
Would recommend to anyone 100%.

Thank you so much for your kind review of Honeysuckle Cottage, we're so happy that you enjoyed your holiday with us. Les and Chris
