Deanfield Coach House is perfectly situated in the heart of the Royal forest of Dean. Cycle & Walking trails start right from the gate. RSPB's Nature Reserve is a short walk into the Forest where all types of birds have been spotted.
Ideal for an activity holiday, with activities such as Go-Ape and canoeing nearby, or for a relaxing break in the countryside, with a cosy woodburner to add to the feel of perfection.

Downstairs at Deanfield Coachhouse there is a well equipped kitchen with a dining table for four. The entrance hall leads to the comfortable open planned beamed lounge/dining area with large dining table, seating to cater for all guests and a 37" flat screen with freesat. Our beautiful Coach House is now even more cosy with our newly installed woodburner. All fuel provided free of charge. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with a toilet and wash hand basin.
There are three well proportioned and airy bedrooms on the first floor. The Master bedroom has a King size bed, single bed and a flat screen 26" colour TV/DVD With freeview. The master bedroom has been extended to 11ft to 16ft, and has a separate walk in luxury spacious, shower en-suite room. The second has a double and single bed with a wash basin and flat screen TV/DVD with Freesat, while the third has a 4 foot bed with flat screen DVD player. There is also a family bathroom with separate shower and roll top free standing bath.

Picturesque Parkend village is within easy walking distance with a Post Office, steam trains, restaurant, shops and an Inn.

Parkend itself is superbly positioned at the heart of the Forest, putting many amenities within easy reach. Our location could hardly be better, as many regular visitors will testify.
Deanfield and The Coach House back onto the RSPB's Nagshead Nature Reserve's cycle and walking trails. The famous Dean Forest Railway runs to this unspoilt Village. Golf, fishing and cycle hire are all nearby. Lydney, Coleford and Clearwell Caves are just 4 miles away.
Places of Interest nearby are: Go-Ape, Puzzlewood, the international St Pierre golf course, Offasdyke Walk, Clearwell Caves, the Shambles Victorian Village, the Dick Whittington Farm Park, Taurus Crafts, the Dean Heritage Centre, Symmonds Yat, the Nagshead Nature Reserve and the National BIrds of Prey Centre. Dean Forest railway runs to this unspoilt village. We have cycle hire in the village of Parkend to make full use of our award winning cycle trails. Canoeing and abseiling are also nearby.
