So glad your stay was enjoyable we do listen if things are not as you would like, but as you say I did respond quickly as I do intend that everyone enjoys their stay at The Old Farmhouse.

"Nice but not what we expected"

When we booked this Farmhouse we thought we would be totally on our own however, little did we know until we arrived that the owners lived in a flat above the house. In a way we were dissapointed that we didnt find this out till we arrived but on another hand when we found that the swimming pool was a bit chilly we knew where they lived !!! so we kindly asked them to rise the temperature in the pool, which the owners knidly did for us.We found the owners to be very pleasent, and all in all we had a lovely time.

"excellent break away in a secluded loacation, enjoyable for anyone and very welcoming owners."

The owners are very welcoming and extremely helpful. Although they are situated on site, you never see them. The property is absolutely stunning in open space with views of fields and forest. Its tasteful with features and an ideal getaway to feel refreshed. The pool is immaculate and kept lovely and warm and the open fire is outstanding! The property has absolutely everything needed for the stay and also includes wifi/internet access, games, books, dvds, as well as the games room. We only left the property to go to the local shops for food as we enjoyed the farmhouse so so much. The shops are only five minutes drive which gives you chance to see the beautiful views on the way. We loved every minute of our stay, at the beginning it was just me and my wife as our honeymoon and then we invited our younger children to join us. This property is ideal for a couples retreat or a family holiday. Our holiday was that good we booked an extra night whilst there and a weekend break in february and again for a week in July!!!! What i liked least about this property...... I had to go home as my holiday ran out!!!!!! The photo's of this property really do not do this property any justice, you really need to be there to appreciate the property.

"Fantastic holiday for families with older children."

We received a warm welcome from the owners and they were always on hand to answer any questions but otherwise we did not know they were there. The accommodation is large enough for each family member to have their own space, important I feel with teenage children. The swimming pool and games room was well used by all of us but particularly our eldest whose darts skills improved greatly during our stay. My husband and I enjoyed being able to sit outside enjoying the view in peace and quiet. All in all we had a relaxing holiday with plenty to keep us all amused.

"Perfect private pool in a lovely relaxing location."

We really enjoyed our stay with Lucy our teenage autistic daughter, we loved the privacy and Lucy and I enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen. Dad enjoyed his beer on the patio. The owners were helpful and discreet. The bedrooms were very comfortable, Lucy did struggle a bit with the open tread stairs. We would definitely go again and we loved the area with several visits in just a short distance.
