I dont know where to begin, I could write so much about this wonderful property and its really thoughtful and caring owner. We enjoyed all of the little treats left for us by Deborah, well the cake was not that little and was really appreciated. The jug of flowers in the conservatory was a nice touch and the log burner in the conservatory made it a great place to "chill", not the right word considering how toasty it got in there with the burner going, but I think you catch my drift. The dog beds, blankets, towels, and treats were appreciated along with the log burner by our dogs Mickey and Sheenagh. Thank you Deborah for your kind concern about Mickey. We were so comfy, we really did not want to go home, it was such a lovely cottage to stay in and the area is outstanding. We would recommend to anybody looking for some peace and quiet and getting some fresh air in their lungs in the Forest. It would take a lot to beat for value for money and quality of facilities, clean, comfy bed, lovely bed linen and towels and just a great place. So glad we found it and we will be back! |

we stayed here in July found it a great place to stay so central for all the places to visit while in the forest of dean. Cottage was on edge of forest and was great for us walking as we had dogs and the garden was enclosed. The cottage was clean and comfortable with the conservatory being such a nice place so sit and eat. I can recommend it totally. Shops and places to eat only a few miles away. I would go back if I visit the area again. |
