This previously four bedroom, 3 bathroom, New Forest chalet sitting in its own two acres of grounds within the National Park is being extended to a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom with conservatory and garage ready for Easter 2015. There is parking and a paddock available if you wanted to bring your own horses on a DIY basis. It is in close proximity to our existing New Forest cottage so there will be the potential of combining the two properties to accommodate 18 people within 9 bedrooms, 20 people within 10 bedrooms in early 2015.

The Hampshire region

Within the New Forest National Park but only 1 mile form the pretty riverside town of Fordingbridge and within walking distance of all the facilities of Sandy Balls, extensive woodlands and walks along the Hampshire Avon.

This is an ideal base from which to explore the National Park (see with beautiful walks on your doorstep and pretty forest villages only minutes away.


As well as being excellent for walkers with their dogs, it is also very well located for fishermen and golfers.

The Hampshire Avon offers some of the best specimen coarse fishing in the country and within a few miles are large gravel pits with excellent carp fishing (see

A few miles across the forest is the oldest golf course in Hampshire, the Forest Course at Bramshaw (see as well as other nearby excellent courses at Hampworth, Remedy Oak, Ferndown, Paultons Park and Stoneham.

There are also a number of equestrian centres close by and a paddock it you woudl like to bring your horses.

Golf: Within 15 minutes drive is the world renowned Remedy Oak ( and within 10 minutes drive is Bramshaw golf club with its Manor and Forest courses. The Forest Course is the oldest course in hampshire and offers a very unique experience where you literally play amongst the ponies. (See Within 30 minutes drive are many other fine courses including, Ferndown, Stoneham, Parkstone, Broadstone, Hamptworth, Queens Park, Meyrick Park, Brockenhurst to name but a few.
