Also very close you can visit the two abbaye of Maillezais an Nieul sur l'autize and of cause the forever increasing in popularity Puy du Fou Near Pouzauge without mentionning the "marais Poitevin" (wet swamp)
How to get there
From La rochelle airport, follow the road to Fontenay le comte , then follow the signs to Bressuire-La chataigneraie, pass the village of Pissotte Then take right at the first round about follow "Le massif forestier -Le Poiron " and finally,first left.WE will be at the end of this road.
