About the home

This ground floor apartment is right on the waters edge with stunning views of the bay on a clear day - from all windows – like an ever changing picture! Freshly decorated in lime green and white, the sitting room is light and sunny with your eyes constantly drawn to the sparkling sea just outside the windows.

The main bedroom has a nautical feel, with high quality blue and white linen (and the odd spot of red!), offsetting the charming white painted furniture.

The second bedroom carries on the green and white theme all in all giving a wonderful feeling of light and airiness to this charming apartment.

A great place to visit whatever the time of year!

An entry-phone system on the main building leads into the inner door to the apartment. All the floors in the apartment are wooden laminate making it very practical when returning from the beach.

The apartment has been completely redecorated in white throughout and there is gas central heating.

The sitting room has wicker sofas and armchair and TV, DVD, DAB radio with ipod connection. There is seating for four and patio doors lead onto the balcony with seating and views of the beach and sea. Access to the sea is through the main entrance to the apartments.

The kitchen is well-equipped with range cooker, gas hob and electric oven, extractor fan, fridge with 3* freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, double sink and sea views.

There are two bedrooms; the main bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom has a single bed with further pull-out single bed under, with fitted wardrobes, bedside table and lamp. The bathroom is newly fitted fully tiled, bath with power shower, basin and wc.

The Folkestone / Sandgate Village area

Sandgate is a small village nestled between Hythe and Folkestone on the coast. The village itself has a good range of antique shops and within a two minute walk of a cosmopolitan mix of restaurants and bars and the renowned Sandgate Hotel, all taking full advantage of the seafront location.

There are wonderful walks along the water front all the way to Hythe – about a mile and a half. Both towns have a good range of shopping, tennis courts, a golf course and lots of places to and of course the view!

Inland, to the west is the open spaces of Romney Marsh with its extensive wildlife, variety of birds and walks, and to the west is the historic Castle strongholds perched on the famous white cliffs including the renowned castle at Dover.

There are an excellent range of restaurants and cafes within easy reach with some excellent gourmet pubs inland.
